Sorry to hear that Laura. My fiance works for Lloyds TSB and he has been through a restructure twice in the past year and its very unsettling, i really feel for you. My partner had to re-apply for his job twice but fortunately he got a job but there were lots of his friends who had worked for the company for years that didnt get a job. I hope you find something soon, enjoy your holiday and hopefully it should take your mind off it for awhile.

I am so sorry! What is it with us Disney brides? I got a layoff notice a couple weeks ago

Try to look on the bright side - I know that's easier said than done - but my last day was Friday and I had an interview yesterday, got the new job, and now I'll be working from home in a totally new and different and exciting field. I think, as my mom used to say, everything happens for a reason.

I'm unemployed here in TX since I moved..the prospects don't look that great either without a long commute, I am putting off looking for a job until after the wedding!
