Too bad I'm just as afraid of boats as I am of planes. Although I think I would go on a cruise before I flew anywhere (willingly, at least).

As for the car ...

She's cleaner than I have ever seen her. This place did an amazing job. My mom surprised me and paid for the exterior to be cleaned as well (insurance will only reimburse us for the interior). She wasn't even this clean when I bought her. The yucky-cigarette smell is gone. She's spotless. It's kind of neat.

It still feels weird to drive though.

I am glad to hear they did such a great job. I can imagine that it is strange to drive it again after all of the bs. You are doing all you theft things tonight right?

Yay! It's good that they were able to get the smoke smell out. That smell is so hard to get out of anything! Are you thinking of keeping it now?

It's too bad that nothing seems to be getting done about all this trouble some seem to be causing. It's really a shame. It's a good thing we have FB to keep in touch if things get iffy, but still, I like this place!

I really still want a new car, but it's just a very logical option for me right now, money wise. So it looks like she'll be staying with us. We have a club type thing so they can't shift out of Park without a key so hopefully she'll stay put this time. We shall see.

I'm thinking of getting it re-keyed though. I have no fracking clue, lol.

How much would re-keying it cost I wonder? That sounds like a good idea, since it seems like whoever keeps taking it has a key. I just hope with all this security for it, they don't decide to damage it because they can't take it!

I highly doubt it. There's no reason to think it was. It's not like they would have needed an actual key. The older Civics (my '01 included) are not hard to steal at all.
