I love looking at the Christmas lights. Thank you so much for mentioning White Christmas I forgot is was going to be on. I am watching it now. This is my favorite Christmas movie.

One of mine, too. I think I saw it on blue ray yesturday while I was christmas shopping. I watched Holiday Inn the other day. Bing looks so young in that movie.

Uh-huh. Oh, we were so beyond mad last week. And of course it was the night I was hoping to leave early to get sleep before leaving for SoCal. So we've gone the entire holiday season almost now without the extra help we were promised. It's pointless now because we've only got a couple of heavy ads left.

Do you bake christmas goodies, too? I made some chocolate chip cookies last week with mint/chocolate swirl chips. Yesturday I made gingerbread cookies. Today I put a coat of dark chocolate on them. Very tastey.

The Frank Sinatra birthday party last night was AWESOME. I had such a blast and I will post pictures later of all of us dressed in our swankiest attire. Today is CHRISTMAS TREE DAY though! We're heading out very shortly to chop it down and then my brothers are coming over to help decorate the outside of the house. So like I've said, might not be around much!

The working a lot is just recent. Most of the year I only work 3 days a week. I am VERY THANKFUL for the extra hours. The extra income means I don't have to stress over how I pay my bills. I only have extra hours scheduled through the first week of January though so hopefully I will have made enough this month to get ahead so as not to worry for a little while.

We got our tree. It is very... Seussian. It's very tall(just a hair short of hitting the 8' ceiling), and on the narrower side but with random bits sticking out in a crookedy sort of way. It sounds awfully weird but I love it for that.

In other exciting news... I believe that I am buying myself a Prius for Christmas. My brother's shop bought it off of a customer who didn't want to pay for it to be fixed. All it needs is a new battery(and a good cleaning apparently). If I'm the one buying(which I've already said I will, I just don't want to get my hopes up too high) then I would only have to pay for the cost of the battery and my brother would do the labor for freehug. He said he could probably get it done this week. This would be the first car that is actually mine and not a parental loaner. Cross your fingers for me!!
