I'm tired too. I really should take a power nap before picking up DD6 from school.

The massage yesterday was awesome, I admit I'm not really down with the "European style" spa and sauna area (meaning sitting around with a bunch of naked women I don't know) so I didn't stick around much post-massage

Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory was yummy. The waiters came out and sang happy birthday to my girlfriend and I. And oh - the other 3 girls went and bought us birthday gifts even though we DON'T DO GIFTS. Arggh. I'm like seriously - just your company is enough! I got a purse, slippers, a scarf, chocolates and a nordstrom gift card

This morning my iPhone screen looked funny. It had this weird discoloration on the bottom of the screen. Back to the mall I went, the Genius Bar at the Apple store gave me a new one Stopped by Nordstrom Rack and got a cute top, a style I've never bought before by this brand Sky. It's cuter on a person I think, I found this image on google:

I am so ticked off right now. I asked Loren to go with me to see HP tomorrow night and he doesn't want to.

My day was sooo busy from missing two days. I didn't have "lunch" until 4pm and barely sat down. Two colors and five haircuts.

It's my DD's birthday today. She's 10. I'm a bit upset with my family (mostly my dad). Ever since he got remarried he's been distancing himself from his kids, he see's her kids/grandkids more than he sees us. Before he got remarried, he'ld call and see how were doing, ask when the next birthday is, what our plans are for the next major holiday. Not the case any more. My DD got a call from my Mom (who lives 6 hours north of us) to say happy birthday and she got her a present. My Mom lives with my Grandma and her only income is disablilty. My Dad didn't even call to say happy birthday. Even her dead beat father called to wish her happy birthday.

My daughter is very well loved (spoiled) but it breaks my heart when my own dad spends more time with people he just inheririted than take the time to say hi, love you to his own blood.

Okay, done venting.
