Just became DVC members!!!!

My husband, one year old son and I just stayed at AKL Kidani Village on rented points last week and while there decided to finally become members! We decided to buy at BCV because we love the resort and location (even though we could have gotten 20 extra points for buying at AKL!). We had a rough year with our son being born 3 months early and spent 5 months in the NICU so we figured it was a good time to buy and have some fun!

Congrats! I was so excited to hear about this from your MiL while you were on vacay. I'm glad you found this forum. I've been a member here for quite some time and the knowledge I've gained has been so valuable.

Mason looks so great in your avatar and I'm so happy for you and your DH that he is about to reach his 1st birthday...what a miracle.

We just stayed at BCV in March with our 3 boys and they loved SAB. Here are Mason's cousins at the iconic Little Mermaid statue. You're going to love your DVC!

I didn't know you were on Disboards! I've been mostly a lurker on trip reports but I figured since we're official members now that I should post. I love the picture of the boys!

We ate at Cape May Cafe this trip and Shaun really loved the BC so we talked to the DVC rep at Kidani and I couldn't believe how easy it was to purchase. Which place is your home resort? Shaun and I were talking about you guys after we bought it! Maybe we can plan a trip with the whole family!

Congratulations on a great home resort! We became Beach club members last year after two stays paying cash. Just remember, beach club books up very quickly so make sure you take advantage of the longer booking window as a member. Have lots of fun planning and enjoying vacations for years to come with your son.

Our home resort is AKL. The boys love it there. I'd like to get my mom down for a trip...I know she would enjoy it. We should plan a family trip. With Rob's schedule we usually end up going in March or around Thanksgiving.
