Just became a Tastefully Simple consultant!

Just last week I became a Tastefully Simple consultant! I'm very excited to get started and see what all TS can do for me and my family. My first party isn't until Oct 19th, but I've already had a $90 order from a friend of the family!

Any other TS consultants out there that would like to give any advice about just getting started would be greatly appreciated. I've got a great sponsor and support team in this area, so I feel very lucky in that regard. But I'm always open to any tips or suggestions! TIA

Tastefully Simple has wonderful products! I love them!

You should have no problems. I love my TS consultant and she is always busy. Up here in the NE, it is difficult to get people to hold parties (I know - I sell Mary Kay)~ but she always seems to be booked!

What kind of products does Tastefully Simple have? Do you have to cook during the party?

Good luck with your new endeavor! Check out being a vendor at some of the kids consignment sales in your area. I have seen Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef and Discovery Toys reps at those before and they have booked several parties that way.

I am not a TS consultant but I have a good friend that is. She joined a networking group and has done a great amount of business from that. She targeted the other business people in the group and has a system set up for them to e-mail gifts to customers/clients. She also has a website where you can order right from her website. I love that feature so when I run out of my Black Bean Salsa and Blue Corn/Sesame chips I can just order from there!

I am not a consultant but I do spend a lot on the products. They really do sell themselves and once you have a clientele they will be your best advertisements.

I've been with TS a little over 5 years & love it! The products sell themselves & are all wonderful. This time of year is super busy, everyone is getting ready for cold weather & the holidays - and they want comfort food!

Not a consultant but a friend of mine has parties all the time. That's one party I always attend. GOOD STUFF! (hmmmm....I think I'll go make some chocolate poundcake now..... )

Good luck! I have always loved their products and used to love going to TS parties when I lived in FL, always spent way too much haven't met anyone out here who sells TS and hubby is pretty happy about that.

I am like you... every time I get invited to a pampered chef, stampin up, or jewelry party I try to figure out how I can get out of going to it without sounding like a jerk. But never with a Tastefully Simple party! which is why I decided to become a consultant!

I've already got my TS website up and running so that clients can order directly from there! Within hours (seriously is was like 5 hrs!) of it being on the web I had a past client from my fulltime job find me online and place a $90 order!!

Tastefully Simple sells products that your either open and servce or you have to add just one or two ingredients. They have dips, salsa, desserts, breads, dressings and more! At the parties the host does make a few things before the party, but it only takes about 15-20 minutes of prep time. The consultant also brings items to taste. During the party it's like a moving buffet!

I Love Tastefully Simple, and I have a friend (not close) that sells it. But she openly sells to her best friend and lets it be know that she only charges her at cost. Feel free to give your friends a 50% discount but keep it a secret. I refuse to buy from her.

For those of you who are a TS consultant or have been one in the past, how quickly or slowly did your business seem to grow (i.e. book parties)? I have contacts with quite a few people (personally and professionally) and I have sent letters telling everyone that I am a TS consultant now. But I know it can sometimes take people a little time to decide that YES they want to host a party.
