Just back....

Just spent the past 7 days in the world......had some goods and unfortunately some bads. Back to work tomoorow but I'll try to get a trip report done.

We're from Iowa too and we just got back Sunday from WDW.

So, how do you like this sub-zero temperature we're having? I keep telling people @ work that I should have stayed in Florida!

I'm from Iowa too and I'm still down here. If it makes you feel any better this is a totally gray rainy Thursday with absolutely no prospects for sun at all today. The projected highs for the next seven days are mostly in the high 60's with scattered showers.It has been very nice until today, though...sigh.

Are either of you from near Iowa City? My ties are to Anthon, Sioux City, Dubuque and Iowa City/Coralville. I hardly ever see anyone from Iowa post so I really love it when I find fellow Hawkeyes!

Instead of 60 dgrees weather, we're getting like 60 inches of snow right now.

Well, at least it's going to be a white Christmas this year, for a change.

I just finished reading your blog. What a wonderful trip report! I love the pictures. The girls' dresses are lovely. Believe it or not I have helped with costumes many times for Iowa City's community theatre...not much lately (been too busy down here with Disney's Food & Wine and Flower & Garden Festivals). My last big undertaking was making four period costumes for turn of the century bathing beauties complete with caps and bloomers.

My DH said it was 14 below zero in IC with the wind chill yesterday morning...or maybe that was the day before yesterday morning. Our youngest DD16 and DD16 (twins) are flying down on the 21st and are really looking forward to warmer weather.

At least you have the your upcoming trip to Disneyland to plan. Those thoughts will keep you warm!
