Just back from four days at DL.

Stayed at DLH in the Sierra tower.

Much busier that the same time last year, extremely busy on Thursday and Friday. (no school for the locals on those days)

Will try to answer all questions.

Hi,
We will be there on Wednesday. I was just wondering if anyone knew if these school breaks will be over by then. We're staying Weds. thru Weds and thought we would skip Sat and Sun. I really hope it's not as crowded as you found it. But, boy am I glad we bought the 5 day hopper. At least I won't feel as much pressure if it is crowded and hard to get to alot of things in one day.

Hambirg,

I was told by a woman who lives in Orange Cty. that the kids were off last Thurs. & Fri.

You will see many kids there as Cal. follows a year round school schedule and not the old Sept. - June schedule.

How was your room at DLH?

How crowded were the restaurants in the hotels and in DD? I am wondering if I should be PSing each night we're there and just skip it if it's not as busy and decide to go to a different place/different time. I have only PSed my Blue Bayou lunch, otherwise I wanted to play it by ear in terms of what we felt like/when.

Did you see the fireworks--if so how did that all go in terms of which night(s), where you stood, how long you waited...

noryglory,

Our room was fine, we were on the 3rd floor with a pool view.

We didn't eat in the hotel or in DD, but in DL for most of our meals. Brought cereal with us and had breakfast in the room.

We had ps for lunch at Blue Bayou one day which we made 60 days out.

cruzindon-thanks for the info. I'm just hoping it's not too bad. Last time we were at Disneyland it was in January right before the opening of DCA and it was raining. It felt deserted; literally like we were the only people there. I hope it keeps raining even though they say it's suppose to clear up by Weds. What they called a storm watch was just a little drizzle to us.
