We got back Monday evening and had a wonderful trip! Thursday and Friday there were virtually no lines in the parks, especially MK on Thursday. The longest wait we had on those two days was 15 minutes on a couple of the Fantasyland rides. The weather was absolutely beautiful with barely a cloud in the sky. I went with my boyfriend and his 2 children(5 and7). It was their first trip and they had a blast. I was worried that they would be scared on some of the rides but their favorite rides were Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror-they also loved Mission Space. The 5 year old wasn't tall enough to ride RnR and so we did child swap and they were a little upset they couldn't ride but they got over it.
The weekend got a bit more crowded with waits ranging between 10 minutes and 70 minutes for rides like Splash Mountain. On Sunday night Splash Mtn. broke down and we ended up sitting in our log for 25 minutes with the lights and music off so that was a little bit of a bummer. They had to actually turn off the ride and reboot it. This is the first time I have ever experienced a malfunction like this on SM. I noticed one other time when we were walking by that the water was not running down the big drop so maybe it broke more than once while we were there. Please feel free to ask any questions
