I just got back on friday. I had a great time on my first trip to wdw. Thanks to everyone who has helped me, from picking out the best time to go(never had to wait more than 15min for a ride), to which hotel to stay at. We stayed 3 nights at WL loved it. We checked in and went to our room and he did not like our view so I called and it was 40/night for courtyard view but we got a free upgrade (insert happy dance)!! Then it was off to the swan for 2 nights I personally did not want to stay there but he did so we are off. The only good thing I could say about the swan was the bed. We had to wait 15 to 20 min between showers cuz the water takes forever to drain and we could not change rooms because guess what, Conventions galore!! They had no more rooms left. Just to get to the pool we had to walk to the dolphin cuz the convention was blocking the walkway needless to say we did not use the pool that much. After walking all day at the parks I did not want to walk anymore.

Now i can not wait to go back I did not want to come home. right now in chicago it is only 44 degrees and to think 2 days ago I was in almost 90 degree weather. This bites

You stated you did not like your view and changed it. What type of room did you reserve if I may ask. What was the initial view of?

I ask this because I have a standard view room reserved and am curious as to what you originally had. I want to be sure my luggage has a nice room since I wont be in it except for sleep. : )

We had a woods view room. When we walked on the balcony there was nothing to look at. Not to mention all the bugs that we would probably have facing alot of trees.

isn't it such a sad feeling when you have to leave
start planning another trip quickly
this fall will be 4 years since we made our one and only trip to disney
Every time I try to plan another trip something comes up
I am crossing fingers we can go in November 2004
If not I'll just keep saving and planning till we get there

We stayed at the WL last summer & also received a free upgrade from standard view to courtyard view. We did have to ask for it though.
