ok..here goes..
We loved the POLY!! Our room on 2nd floor of Tokelau building was overlooing "quiet pool". From our balcony we could see fireworks from MK at night-it was beautiful. The torches that light up the walkway at night were peaceful at the end of a long day in the parks.
Great pool and beach-too bad no hot tub, tho.
Would have liked to rent a water mouse, but ran ourt of time.
The Captains Cook 25 hour snack shop had a pretty nice variety. Ate dinner at 'Ohana and loved it!! Had a table facing the castle and it ws beautiful. Our son and 2 nieces had fun with the hula hoop contest and coconut racing. Food was good-loved the shrimp wontons with peanut dipping sauce, shrimp, beef, and even turkey was great!! Had a Lapu Lapu drink served in pineapple-was very good and potent!!
Loved all the new attractions (3 years since our last trip)
MK-Mickeys Philharmagic 3D show was awesome-my new 3D fav.
Big Thunder Mountain was down for rehab which was disappointing. Visited our favs-Space Mountain/Splash Mountain/Haunted Mansion etc. Had several dole whips !!
EPCOT-Mission Space was cool but thought too much hype about motion sickness. Enjoyed sampling at food/wine fest.
AK-was a hot steamy day so refreshing at Kali River Rapids. Bought the meal deal which was a great deal. Got front row seats for the parade which we all enjoyed.
MGM-loves Millionaire (was in top 10!!) TOT and Rock .n Roller coaster.
The crowds were very light except 10/25 pm at MK.
Ate at '50s Prime Time-food just ok. We prefer Sci-Fi.
Boma at AKL for dinner buffet-lots of different food-was fun to try it all-everyone helpful with explaining dishes.
'Ohana-as mentioned above. Chef Mickeys for dinner-great feast!! Loved the penne pasta and the parmesan potatos!! Nice to have a few minutes with the characters. Cinderella for breakfast-was suprised that food was hot and tasty!! Loved the princesses. After brekfast right into to FantasyLand for the all the attractions-walked right on!!
A great trip-Hope in another year or so.........
