We were at POR from 8/31-9/6. It was wonderful. We ate at Chef Mickeys, Rain Forest Cafe and Tony's. The crowds M-F were great. We really didn't wait for anything. Friday am my dd and I went to MK and walked right on all the rides in Fantasyland several times in a row. It didn't rain until the am that we left. No one else in my family wanted to go to Fantasmic so I went alone and waited 2 hours. They almost cancelled the show due to some showers. The show was great!! I am glad I went. We used WDW transportation everywhere and there were no problems. We spent Sunday at the resort(to avoid the crowds). I will post a trip report when I can.

Sounds like a great trip! I wish all of ours were that smooth! :D

It sounds like you had a great time... I cannot wait to get back there.. Please do post a trip report.. we love reading them.. :)

we are headed for POR (again) in November, but my girls are complaining about the beds! One has a "bad back" (back surgery in the past), and she says the beds there were horrible. I am wondering if you know if any of POR has been rehabbed yet, and if so, what part. We have always been in the mansions, and I could sleep anywhere, on anything, but if some rooms have new beds, I will make that my request. Thanks for posting....glad you had a good trip MaryAunt
