From 10 days at AKL and it was soooo great!!

We did everything...some things for the 100th time and some we haven't done in a long time such as the Luau at The Polynesian.It was a last 'fling' for my daughter and I as she heads off to College and we really had a blast!!

Now..as we will also be there for New Years....do I stand much of a chance getting a good rate checking-in on the 28th of December?? Usually we are there for Christmas so we check-in early enough to get a reasonable price but the way I see it...we will not be so lucky this year? Any tips to share? I note the Florida resident specials and Annual Passholders go into December longer but not as far as I need!!

Thought I would ask??

Nice to see you back, miinie!!!! That luau is nice, we did it also a few years back, lots of fun.

Arriving on the 28th I think you will be hard pressed to find a 'deal'. Maybe run it by the folks on the Resort board. If there is one, they will know for sure. Again, welcome home, glad you enjoyed.

Thanks Dan for the Welcome home...It's nice to be back except we are now in the midst of packing up my oldest for University and that is making it a tough day today to say the least. We will drop her tomorrow and stay a day or two and then that's it...until Thanksgiving at least which for us is in October (If I last that long!!) I think the 3 hour drive will become very familiar to me over the next 5 years!

Good thinking about the resort board..I'll head over there!!
