Had a great visit last week (1st~6th) and wanted to share a few things.
Got to the park last Sat night at 10:00 PM and hadn't planed on going in (DL had party) but we had purchased our first AP's on-line so we had to take care of getting them exchanged for hard copies. The CM was telling us we should go into DCA for at least a little while. She was so nice she ended up giving us FP's to RSR so we hit that one and went back to our hotel (PVI) for the night.
BTW, AP's no longer have pics on them.
The week was quite a bit more crowded than we normally see that time of year. CM's told us that the 60th celebration was bringing in a lot more people.
The park looked wonderful and there were no break downs. All the food we had was good too - Disney has come a long way in that regard. People were pretty nice as well. Minimal line cutting and I have yet to ever be ran down by a stroller!
IASW looks and sounds better than I've ever seen it before. The renovations and improvements in lighting and sound are first class.
I paddled an explorers canoe around the ROA and made sure we rode the Mark Twain several times since that would all be different the next time we make one of our yearly visits.
I have some issues with the way Disney deals with crowds during entry. They desperately need to open more lines if only for an hour. Many people in line were also saying they need a no-bag entry and I agree.
The only bad-show we ran across was when it started drizzling lightly. The employees at the Jolly Holiday bakery ran around and quickly folded down all the vinyl umbrella's leaving people no where to get out of the weather. They even zip-tied them shut. I could understand this if it was a major storm with wind and such but it wasn't.
All in all another wonderful trip!
