We just returned from a week long visit. For those that have answered my endless questions the last couple of months here are my updates -

The first week of March worked out well, the first four days were great with lower crowds than I expected and quick wait times. It did get busier the last few days in the parks (much busier). The difference in the MK between Wednesday and Saturday was night and day.

They did allow my cousin to escort her two daughters into Anna and Elsa even though I was only able to get two FP+ (I'm not saying this is to be expected, but they did allow it this time).

SDMT still had pretty long wait times except it did drop to 20 minutes during Wishes in the middle of the week. It was 2 hours Saturday afternoon.

We had no problem scheduling additional FP+ in the Magic Kingdom (4th, 5th and 6th and probably could have done more) and scheduled a 4th for the Lion King in AK. I didn't even try in Epcot and we just saw shows in the late afternoon in DHS so I can't report back on those parks.

Talking Mickey was a huge hit!

Hopefully they will soon allow us to schedule FP+ on MDE, getting to a kiosk was time consuming and the lines to use it were rather lengthy on Saturday. It would be nice if they added a kiosk section over by the circus area.

Memory Maker - we had six different sets of photos not show up even though they scanned our bands. I was able to get them all added today by email by sending them the time frame, location and our description but I was surprised it happened so many times. Keep track of the photos you take!

All in all it was a great trip! Thanks again for all of the tips these last couple of months.

Interesting about A&E. I know months back there was someone on this forum who is a CM who suggested trying that- that Disney will allow it if the child is under 7. I don't your children's ages, but perhaps that's correct after all?

The girls are 7 (about to be 8) and 9 years old. A few folks here had told me they had been allowed to go into A&E with their kids so after trying all month long for a 3rd FP+ with no luck I just told their mom to be super nice and see if she could go along with them.

I don't remember the crowd numbers but I think on Wednesday the MK was the 2nd recommended park on EasyWDW and the least recommended park on Saturday. I would have gone to Epcot Saturday instead but the kids really wanted MK. We did make it work, we did our 3 FP+ (with lunch in between 2 and 3) and then kept adding the next FP+ for whatever was available at that time and nearby (was able to do IASW, Dumbo, Speedway etc. right away).

The Mickey Mouse at the meet and greet in the MK talks to you (not guaranteed to always be talking though).

The lines at the kiosks could be quite long at times, it could be a little frustrating. I really hope they start to allow us to book the additional FPs on our phones or at least put in more kiosks.

We did have a very enjoyable time. Now I have to get used to life with no WDW trip planning again, lol. I don't think we will go back till 2017.

It is good to hear that you were able to get so many fast passes while at the park.

I agree that one fix to the new FP+ system that I would like to see would be the ability to get your 4th, 5th, etc extra fast passes from the MDE app after the return window on your 3rd FP had expired. I think that Kiosks are a waste of time.

We were there last week too and managed to ride 7DMT standby during Wishes on Friday... 20 minutes wait/ride time. It was great!

We were at MK on Wednesday and Friday... Definitely noticed bigger crowds on Friday (but still managed 3 7DMT rides per the kids' request, one at RD, one at 3 pm with FP and one during Wishes!) Also a big difference in temps! Friday was chilly and we weren't expecting it! Brrr!

All in all it was a great week, fabulous weather, we hardly waited in any lines and the parks didn't seem overly crowded at all.

The MDE app list all of the options (4 kiosk locations in MK), plus there is a 'service center' in town hall where you can also book them as well.

I primarily used the kiosk in Fantasyland next to Philharmagic.

I stopped by the one near the bathrooms in Fronteirland also.

We never waited more than 2-3 minutes over multiple times.

Yes, the two hour wait was the posted standby time. We rode twice with FP+ with almost no wait (really just to scan the bands and walk through the line).

We left after dinner on Friday night although we had originally planned to stay through closing. We did not come prepared that day for the drop in temperature, even buying sweatshirts we were all freezing. I don't think we were the only ones, it was a mass exodus to the ferry, lol.
