We had a short 3 day trip. We stayed on property and used the Magic Bands. Loved them for the room key,charging anf fastpass. We went toufic Kingdom Monday the 24. Got there at 8:30 for rope drop. Went right to Peter Pan and walked on. Pooh was temporarily closed so went straight to Dumbo. Then to Goofy no waits at all. Went back to Pooh and only waited a few minutes. Then to little mermaid ride with 5 minute wait. We then rode space mountain standby. I was able to change my little mermaid fastpass to buzz with no problem and we then rode buzz with fastpass.
We then went for an early lunch and then did thunder mountain with fastpass and then jungle cruise fastpass. This was around 2pm and both those lines were 40 minute standby waits. So fastpass plus was great until they were done. It was now 230 and all wait times were 40 minutes or more!
So we went standby for pirates at 40 minutes. And then small world 40 minutes!
I love how you can schedule the times and change them on the go but after you run out it stinks. The park was crazy Monday from all the marathon runners. Just wish you could schedule more after you run out or they should offer more. The waits on Monday were crazy. Even at 915 at night the wait to see Ariel wad still a solid 30 minutes! The rest of the lines died down after 9.
We used rider swap a lot and never had a problem. They were very quick to give us the pass.
I was shocked at the line for dole whip! We waited 10 minutes and finally ditched the line.
All in all I liked the fastpass plus but I don't like the limits on them. I liked the old system better.
