Hello all..we just returned yesterday from a week in Orlando. We just LOVED the WWOHP!! We stayed at Hard Rock, so we visited Harry 3 of our mornings there. The 2 hour time period was fine and we got to do everything more than enough! The 14 year old just loved the whole thing and was very impressed with FJ. That says a lot...14 year old girls are not impressed with very much except boys!! We all loved the frozen butter beer and just only liked the regular. For some reason, we liked the butter beer better that was served in the bar, rather than the cart outside. For the most part, I thought the crowds were low. It will be a zoo for sure when it opens to the public. We also ate breakfast at the Three Broomsticks when it opened to non-package holders at 9:45. Cost--15.00!! Overall, I was very pleased with our "preview" and glad we did not cancel and went on with the trip. The area is very small, but the details are awesome. I am in my mid-fifties and did ride FJ. I have motion sickness problems and kept my eyes closed most of the time!! But at least I did it!! Will be glad to answer any questions!!

Thanks for the report!

Did you go into any of the shops?

Yes, we went into all the shops that were open. Honeydukes had some neat things and connects with Zonko's. Not very impressed with Zonko's. Dervish and Banges connects with the wand shop and has some neat little things. And of course Filtch's at the end of the ride, which has the most T-shirts. Overall, we were a little disappointed with the merchandise. There is just not that much there. My neice saw a necklace in the window at
Dervish and Banges, but when we asked we were told it was for display only! By the end of the week, the big store at the entrance to the park had been redone to add Harry Potter stuff. There were a few other shops..not sure if they are just for show or will eventually be open. Happy shopping!!

Thanks for the report, sounds like a fun time overall!
