We just went for a quick day trip today ... got there around 8:30, bought our tickets and went right in. We had our hotel room keys for the express lines, but we didn't need it. IOA was dead. We rode every roller coaster 3, 4, 5 times .... front seats on DD a bunch of times, etc. We stayed till around 3 then walked over to Studios. We did use the room key there for Jimmy Neutron and Mummy .... that's about it. I was really surprised - especially because a lot of Florida schools were closed. That's the only reason why we were there today - DD was off from school.

The parks anytime after Labor Day = desolate. Great time to visit, though. :thumbsup2

:lmao: Some of us already know, km! Last December 11 we "cheated" on WDW and went to UO/IOA. I was petrified at first because we were literally the ONLY people at IOA at opening. I thought I was Clark Griswold and the park was closed.

I hope the crowds hold for our trip the first week of Nov. Cheating felt so good in Dec, that we're going to do 3 days at UO/IOA this time!:woohoo:

(Heart the book, km. I'm devouring it again, as I've already read it cover-to-cover.)

So is it safe to say that its dead after labor day for every month except maybe around Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas? Up until what? May?

I have had annual passes for the past few years, since I go to UCF. Here's what I have discovered are the best times to go:
September
October (days that don't have Horror Nights are best, but even HHN days
are good until around 3:30).
November (NOT the week of Thanksgiving)
December (until about the 12th and then schools start letting out)
January
February

After February, you start running into Spring-Breakers and School field trips which crowd it up pretty fast. And that takes you right into summer and the hell that IS theme parks.
