JUST BACK YESTERDAY! Any questions?

Did you attend any EMH in the evening? If so, how were the crowds? Where you in an EMH park for the whole day, or did you just go to that park for the evening hours, and do other parks on that day?

How was your trip?? Was it magical?? Where did you stay? What did you think of where you stayed/would you stay there again? How were crowds? How were the buses? Any info on EMH in the evenings as far whether you did them and if they are worth it? What did you do on the rainy days? Thanks!! I hope you had a great trip!

We are leaving in 9 days...would love to know what your take was on the night EMH....how they compared to the morning ones.

TIA

Denise

Just got back from 10 day trip yesterday. Would be happy to answer any questions. :cheer2:

How was the hub in front of the Castle? Was it an eyesore? Did you see Dumbo as a Character? How were the crowds?
D.D.

Hope you had a nice time. How were the crowds and weather. Did you like Stitch? Was COP open? How late were the parks opened?

I'm not the original poster, but am back from my 10 day trip. I did EMH at AK (Sunday Night) and at Epoct (Thursday night). The Epcot one was great--the crowds thinned out quickly. we were able to do Test rack so many times I lost count--even got to stay on without getting off. There was a little wait for the bus, but very little--then we waited a few minutes for more people to come. I did overhear the monorail CMs complaining that they were not told about the EMHs until 5 that day, so they were having to scramble to find enough CMs. The only things we did in AK were primeval whirl and dinosaur--the wait times were very reasonable--they only have one side of whirl running during EMH. as the evening wound down, we were able to ride Dinosaur numerous times. The buses to AK weren't as efficient as Epcot.

Crowds were great during the week, but absolutely horrendous on Sunday at MK--more crowded than our June trip. I was so glad we were leaving.

During the rainy days, we just went onto the parks--it was more misty than anything else, so it really didn't interfer--Indiana Jones couldn't do the airplane stunt, but other than that, everything went on as planned. Sunday am was a nasty morning, but it got better.

The hus is just an ugly wall--didn't really interefer with castle view, until you were right up on the castle.

The one thing that I can say--I HATE the new ticketing system--it adds a good bit of time to entry. The machines rarely read the fingers quickly, and the lines back up quickly, They have an inadequate number open, although on CM told me they would be adding turnstiles to speed the process.

We got to ride upfront in the monorail twice. The first time, our driver never spoke--very sullen acting. The second driver spoke once, but wasn't very friendly. I also had a negative experience with a cashier at the All Stars Music and reported her to the manager. It was an enjoyable trip, but not our best.

I would love to know about the 2005 merchandise. What is the logo like?

I did do the dining plan, with varying success. I was able to purchase it on Friday from the airport waiting for my flight. They faxed me a confirmation to the resort. On one occasion, I was questioned in an extremely hateful manner--I reported the behavior to the manager at the resort. I also tried to use it at Restaurantasaurus at AK, and had big problems-eventually, another manager came over and paid for our meal because of the trouble. Later in the week, it became easier, I guess as the staff became more familiar with the confirmation.

Didn't stay for any of the EMHs. Crowds were VERY manageable and almost non-existent except for sat. the 15th. I didn't plan days around EMHs. I just went to whatever park I felt like going to. On a couple of days I parkhopped.

Trip was great! I stayed at ASMu. Did not care for it and don't plan to stay there again. I much prefer ASMo. Crowds almost nonexistent. Buses were quick. Only had to stand twice. I didn't bother with the EMH because I had already done everything I wanted to do in the parks. I used the evenings for other things. It only rained the last two days I was there and I went to the parks just like I had originally planned.

I didn't go to any of the EMH's because it was so uncrowded that it wasn't necessary. I did see them distributing wristbands twice. It seemed very organized and easy to do if you want to stay.

I didn't even notice the hub until I was right on it so it is not an eyesore. They have one of those walls around it. I've never seen Dumbo as a character. I don't think they do that. I was there when Dumbo was closed for refurbishment. After the put the wall up they put half of the Dumbos up so they can be seen above the wall & set up one of them outside the wall with steps so people could take their picture in the car.

Had a nice time thanks. Crowds were VERY LOW. Weather was beautiful except the last 2 days. I liked Stitch. Did it twice. Liked it better when it was Alien Encounter though. COP was open. Saw it 3 times. AK was open until 6, MK was open until 7 or 8 except for the last night I was there when it was open until 11, Epcot was open until 9, MGM was open until 7.

Did you do MK on a Saturday and if so, how crowded was it?

I did MK on Sat. the 15th (my last day there). It was pretty crowded (cheerleaders & dancers were there). I didn't have any problems doing what I wanted to do though. Only the most popular rides had the fast pass machines uncovered.
