Just back yesterday...Any questions?

NEVER! :P

if the moon is big, its pretty bright...

according to weather yahoo, sunset is 6:24... but the place is bright enough to notice... i seriously dont really know exactly... but around 7PM i guess. parade, its dark but a bit of sunlight.

I just got back yesterday too.... The crowds were DISCUSTING!!!! I was told that early october is one of the best times to go because of the smaller crowds.... OMG was that wrong....

I was there all last week, I went from Monday to Saturday (2-7th). Monday was busy because there was a Jewish holiday and the kids had a long weekend, the whole week was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO busy because of the halloween events going on, PLUS there were 3 conventions AND GAY DAY WEEKEND!!!!

I was not pleased! Let me tell you. If I had known that was going to happen i woulda have booked my trip for another time. Even the CM's were quite shocked.

Other then the fact that people were LITERALLY shoulder to shoulder shoving and pushing, and all lineups were all about an hour long, I had an absoloute ball other wise. No complaints.

Out of a 6 day hopper, only 1 day was half decent.

Do you still have your Park Map and if so what times does it list for the Golden Horseshoe Billy Hill show? I'm curious and trying to plan that into my day.

(Oh, I'll be there on a Wed and Thurs, if that matters on times if you even have them... lol!)

Thanks!

times are on the times guide & i didn't save one of those. sorry.

i didn't see any of this. saturday (10/1) was swamped but i had been warned that ANY saturday is like that at DL. i went to DCA on sunday & only spent 1/2 day but did everything. monday went back to DL with early entry. stayed till about 2:30. did lots. tuesday i went to laguna beach & didn't go to the parks. wednesday (10/4) i went back to DL & stayed all day. walked right on to everything except peter pan (20 min. wait). i thought crowds were very light except for saturday. even got a curb seat for parade wed. night. saw & did everything w/only 4 day ticket.

We just went to DTD on Saturday (10/7) and saw all the Gay Days Anaheim '06 folks (but that doesn't bother me). We were just doing a little pin trading in the hotels, at DTD and outside the gates. The lines looked big to get into the park, but not as bad as when my DH and I were there in April...the weather was beautiful- we were in shorts and t-shirts, but had sweatshirts too for early morning and evening....we also had a fantastic lunch at the Jazz Kitchen!!

I was quite surprised about the crowds, too. Saturday (the 7th) was horrible. I wasn't in the parks on Sunday (the 8th) but it looked terribly crowded, too. I'm sure there are plenty of people who can enjoy themselves even in the crowds, but I am not one of them.

Are the golden hidden Mickeys still up? Thanks.

the only one i saw was on the train station. also the crowns were taken down while i was there so i got to see the castle both ways. IMHO it looked better with them.

where did you stay?

at the anabella hotel. it's across the street from CA so it's not a long walk if you want to do that (i did once). it's also right up from back entrance to DTD (walked that once too). ART bus stops right in front & there's a great restaurant next door -- Tiffy's. Got a great rate on expedia & it was a really nice place to stay.
