We just got back, and I just wanted to share our experience. At the Contemporary, we were able to exchange 1 TS meal for 1 CS meal, and were able to get 3 snacks for 1 CS meal. We ended up with 4 cs meals leftover yesterday and ended up getting 12 snacks to bring home instead.

We've done this previous years as well, at different resorts, but before I left there was a thread about someone being told you could only get 1 snack for 1 cs meal, so I just wanted to share our experience. The first time I only got a dessert and drink and asked if I could just use a cs meal credit and not get the entree and she told me to go get something else, because it's 3 snacks for 1 cs meal. We had absolutely no issues at all.

I'm glad to see your experience, and that you were able to do this: I think things vary by location....At a resort food court (August 2010), breakfast included 2 drinks (like 2009,) but at the Main Street bakery, it was 1 drink and two :confused3. I inquired there, and they said it varies by location.

It is unfortunate that they do not have a standard policy for this.

It seems to vary by CM and location.

Tony's right, there's no standard policy. It's because this is not an official policy of the dining plan, it's something that some places may let you do. It may be 3 snacks in one place, 2 snacks in another, 4 snacks somewhere else, or they won't let you do it. Resort food courts and CS are a good place to try, apparently...places like Goofy's Candy Co. are not.

When we had breakfast last xmas week at Main St Bakery we got breakfast croissant as the entree and 2 drinks(water and coffee) for one CS credit. It was the same for breakfast at Pizzafari in AK also.

Like others have said, it seems to depend on which CM you get. I've been able to trade in 1 CS for 3 snacks, and also been told it's not allowed. :confused3 Very annoying, I wish they'd have a policy one way or the other.

Was this from the Contempo Cafe?

Yeah in May of 09 we had 8 cs credits left (we had spent a day in seaworld) anyway - we went to DTD Goofy's CC to trade them in - we asked a CM - she said 3 snacks per credit - we asked if any snacks (even those in the case) counted - she said yes - she helped us get all of them boxed up - took us to the register then the CM next to her said we had to get prepackaged snacks only - they stood there arguing for about 5 minutes then finally she said I"m sorry I guess they changed it again - how would you like to pay for these - :scared1: I said we don't want them and left we ended up going and eating 4 of our CS meals then getting 4 to go to eat on the way home
