Hi,
Glad you had a great time! We have reservations at the WLV on 7/20. We requested a water view. Is there any chance you can actually see the water from the villas or are the trees obstructing the view? We're staying in a studio. Do you know which villa might afford the best view of the lake? I'm also wondering if it's within walking distance to the campground?

We took a bus to the campground for breakfast and walked back after. It's a very nice, relaxing walk. I think they said it's about a mile.

I think you might be able to see a glimpse of the water from the front end of the villas or the pool side. The farther down the hall you are on the pool side, the more trees there are. The villas are lovely & the beach is just a short stroll down the sidewalk. We prefer the villas over the main lodge - it's quieter in our opinion. Have a great time!
