My DH and I just returned yesterday from a truly magical WDW vacation. We spent four nights at WL and four nights at Pop. Here are my impressions.
WL room 4019, courtyard view. Great room overlooking the pool, with the lake to the left. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning listening to the waterfall and the beautiful Christmas music. What a terrific way to start the day! Check-in Sat Dec 4th went smoothly, we had a great CM, Angelo, who was a lot of fun. Our room wasn't ready (we got the resort about 11:30), but when we got to it later in the day we found an autographed picture of Mickey Mouse, some WL balloons, and some WL chocolate! What a nice beginning to possibly the best WDW trip EVER!
Midway through our trip we switched resorts to Pop. Our room was ready when we checked-in (about noon), which was an unexpected bonus. We were in the 70's building, room 215. This was a great location! And it overlooked a courtyard. And it was quieter than our room at WL!!
Transportation from both resorts was very efficient. Although this was my 21st WDW vacation, it was my first at Christmas time, and I was blown away by the beautiful decorations and special activities in the parks. I will definitely be returning at this time of year again!!
