We had some really great dining experiences. Our favorite was California Grill. The server, Jenny O, was awesome and very attentive. What a great evening, although I am sure she made the difference. We also had good times at Jiko, Brown Derby and Artist Point. Sadly disappointed with Chefs de France. :sad1:

We also enjoyed the Spirit of Aloha luau at the Poly. Some of the posts for it were sketchy at best and made us a little worried, but the service, food and show were better than we expected. It was a nice time. :goodvibes

We were lucky enough to be able to book our excursion in 2008. 11 nights at the POR with free dining. Cannot wait for new dining experiences.

Reviews are always a great guideline. But you should always judge restaurants for yourself.
Some are consistent in food and service. Some are not.

So very true... We did no posting until we went for ourselves and experienced the reality. I think sometimes there is an expectation that is not realistic. Unfortunately, many WDW restaurants are pricey and not in line with what many guests have in mind. This not only causes a distorted expectation, it also leads to a bad experience. We really enjoyed some of the restaurants that were panned.
