Just back - where I ate

Since TS resturaunts are air conditioned, important in late August, I ate the majority of my meals there. I ate at Rose and Crown (lunch), Sci-Fi, Pizzafari, Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner), B&C, Chefs de France, BC Marketplace, Boulengarie Pastrie. Best Service-R&C; biggest dissappointment-CRT, server was nice and food was very good, but everything was so rushed. My server didn't even stop to offer me coffee after dinner and he ran away so fast, I doubt I could have gotten his attention to get coffee. Best atmosphere-by far, Sci-Fi. I'd be happy to answer any questions.

How was the food at Sci-fi? We have a 5:30 adr on DS b-day, he turns 10. The restaurant is his choice, and we think it looks cool, but I've read really mixed reviews on the food. The menu seems fine, the pics of the food I've seen look good, what did you think?

I had a Rueben this time, a hamburger last time I was there. Both times my sandwiches were pretty good, but my fries were only "fair" (but then, I'm not crazy about French Fries). However, the atmosphere is the best, well worth the experience. They give complimentary refills on soft drinks, so it's a great place to cool off and eat on a hot day.

I've never eaten at Pizzafari before. How's the food there?

Pizzafari was excellent (my favorite place to eat in AK). I've always had the same thing-hot deli sandwich, which I always love. The big room in front is kind of noisy, but if you go to either one of the rooms in back (to the left as you face the food counter), it's so nice and relatively peaceful. Pizzafari had frozen lemonade, which I've had before too-great on a hot day. At Rose and Crown, I had 2 appetizers, lamb and barley soup and also salad with stilton cheese dressing. Then I had the citrus trifle dessert, I think it was some special happiest celebration dessert. I was in a smaller room with a great view-after my lunch, I told the server she could bring my check if she wanted but she said "Well, it's pretty rainy out there (it was), so I thought I'd let you sit and relax a little." She was very nice, and I had an excellent view, watching the friendship boats on the lagoon, oh and watching the rain!
