Sat Nite -O'Hannas - Pina Coladas to die for. Give you lots of food, great atmosphere. Hubby liked it more than me, but I'm picky.
Sun Breakfast - Cindy's Castle. Worth every penny but the food is a bust. Castle is beautiful, and the characters come to everyone. It was DD's birthday and they gave her a cupcake with a candle and all the characters signed a birthday card. Breakfast was coffee, juice, fruitcup, basket of bakery goods which were all good but the hot foods - eggs, potato, french toast which was more like a donut I was not too crazy about.
Sun. Dinner - Chef Mickey - again, characters galore and just like Cindy's it is worth it just for that. Food was nothing special.
Mon-Brown Derby - it was good but I would have liked it more if I wasn't eating dinner at 3:50 for the Fantasmic Dinner Package.
Tues - Bomas. The best of the week. Tried everything and liked 90% of what I tried. 5 soups, Prime Rib, watermelon salad and tons of stuff. Beautiful hotel and then we walked around and saw the animals.
Wed - Rose and Crown. Had the mushroom appy which was huge and must be shared, very tasty and the pie sampler. All good. DH had fish and chips. Nice place.
Thurs. Fresh (Dolphin) We went here because we were tired of eating foodcourt breakfasts. Lots of food, clean but expensive.
Thurs dinner - Charley's Steakhouse (outside WDW) - very good, huge portions .
Fri. - Kona's for dinner. We shared the Asian noodles. Tasty. We wanted something quick, but not at a counter service so that is why we went there.

gogiant -

Do you know how you got to Charley's Steakhouse? We ate there once when our airline laid us over, but went on a shuttle bus from a hotel and we had no clue of the address. It was incredible and I would love to go back!

There are 3 locatons I believe, and we called the restaurant directly for directions from POR. The one we went on was on International Drive and we got off 74A to get to that one. The portions are huge and the "slice of cake" we had for dessert seemed to be the size of a loaf cake! We called for reservations like an hour or two before we went in and they accommodated us easily.

Did you think that Fresh was expensive compared to the amount of food you get, or because there are no characters?
We are planning to eat there before we head out on our drive home.

I guess it all depends how you look at it. We went because we were tired of dining at the POR foodcourt and for the 3 of us it cost us over $40. They have these grilled meats which we did not eat but was different and can't be had at POR and they had some weird juices (detox, antioxidents) that tasted...unusual. They have many bakery items but if you want plain toast to eat with your eggs you must ask the waitress. I didn't know this and by the time I did, my eggs were getting cold. The hotel is beautiful, Fresh is a small place and hardly no one was in at 8 AM. For 1/2 the price I could have eaten at the foodcourts and if I am going to pay that amount, I wouldn't mind seeing Mickey and Minnie.

I don't know where to look at this information...what was the price for the buffet at Boma's? Thanks for your review.

Check out www.allearsnet.com . Under Dining, they list all menus and prices for restaurants. Sorry, I don't know the Boma price off the top of my head.
