Just Back - Used National Emerald Aisle

Just got back from a 6 day trip.

We reserved a full size using Emerald Aisle service. Picked up the car at about 9:00 am on Wednesday. We got a Grand Caravan with approx 9,000 miles on it - very nice. Girl at the booth was a little slow - but no big deal. She asked for BV Internet Coupon. Return was very fast. I would say this service (based on this first experience) is as good as Avis Preferred and was very convenient.

When we got there there were 4 minivans (2 Dodge, 1 Chevy, 1 Pontiak) on the aisle. Other full and mid size. No SUV's. $137, including taxes, for a minivan for six days - can't beat that .

BV coupon? (buena vista?) I have that discount, too, but there wasn't a coupon. I just clicked on the link on the web page and it took me to National's site. Ooopps. I have the page bookmarked, but I can't get to it. It is trapped on my desktop and I don't know how to move all of the files from a previous version of AOL to the one I'm using now. (had to uninstall and then reinstall AOL on my computer) Can someone post the link to the page, or better yet the coupon?

Thank you for posting about your experience. We haven't heard very much on National lately. It's good to see that they still have minivans on the isle. I'm hoping for another Impala when we arrive on T-day. I know, I'm dreaming. (hey, a girl has that right, doesn't she?LOL) Thanks again for the report!

Hope we have the same luck for our trip in November. Our plane arrives at 9:15 PM--on a Friday--hope the cars aren't all picked over by then! It would be nice to get a larger car or van.
