I used the ME since this was a last minute, budget trip and I was travelling by myself. The service is free so really I can not complain, coming from the airport took a long time, going from the hotel to the airport was fine.
Here is my time line on the day I arrived.
the plane landed at 10:05, there were only 2 employees showing you where to go once you got to the main terminal so that was a bit confusing.
I was at the welcome desk line by 10:30, I was at the counter by 10:45, they had my returning flight info wrong, I has called to give them the correct info, but the CM was able to fix that with no problem and I was directed over to the bus line by 10:50. A bus for the Allstar resorts was just filling when I got there, but I did not make that bus. The bus that was to take me to the Allstar Music of course also took the Allstar Movies and Sports, however, it also took the people going to the POP. This made for a lot of people waiting for a bus.
I was not on a bus until 11:10, we left the airport at 11:20. 1st stop was the POP at 11:45, then Allstar Sports at 11:50 and I was at the Allstar Music at 12:00.
So from the time I arrived at the airport at 10:05, it took nearly 2 hours to get to the resort. Generally when I've used a town car service I was there in about a hour from the time the plane landed. Again, the service was free so I can not complain.
Coming back the system worked great, I got my packet two nights before my check out and the flight info was correct. My flight left at 8:25 so my pick up time was 5:30, the driver arrived at 5:35, there were already people on the bus, I know Sports was picked up prior to the Movies, but I do not know if there was a resort before them, after the Music the bus picked up at the Movies. We were on our way to the airport by 5:45, we were at Terminal B by 6:20. This gave me plenty of time to walk over to the USair terminal and get checked in and go through security.
...
My husband and I are going in December, he has never been to Disney before so I think I will go with a town car service.
