Hey everyone,

We just returned from a 7 day trip to CSR. It was fun, busy, and hot!

We used Happy Limo for the first time and I was very happy with their service. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

We got a sedan. They actually used a van to pick us up to go back to the airport yesterday - although there were only 3 of us. (They didn't charge us extra.)

We did the grocery stop - it was Albertson's. Nice selection there.

They were on time both times coming and going. Yesterday they were even 15 minutes early.

Thanks for the report! We will be using Happy Limo for the first time in just a few weeks - can't hardly wait.

One question for you - including your grocery stop, about how long did it take you to get to your resort?

Thought of one more question - how big of a grocery store is Albertson's? Was it pretty easy to find what you were looking for in a timely manner?

Thanks a bunch!

Hi Pink,

It took us about 40 minutes??? including grocery stop? We did have to wait about 5-8 minutes for our sedan driver to go get the car after she met us. They aren't allowed to park by the doors anymore since 9/11 because of the threat of a car bomb, so she helped us with the luggage and walked us to the point where we were to wait while she went to get the car.

Albertson's was HUGE about like a Kroger. It was very easy to find everything. The aisles are large and easy to get around. The styrophome coolers (if you are planning to get one) are located up front just about 10 steps awasy from the doors with a bunch of other beach stuff. We started there and made our way to the left where the pastries and stuff are and then immediately found sodas and beer to the right and then the milk is on the back right wall. It took us about 15-20 minutes at the store.

Have fun! By the way, we didn't tip extra on the trip there as our driver was good, but not anything spectacular. (the tip is already included in the price you paid anyway.) But we did tip about $5 extra on the way back cause our driver was fun and very talkative and informative.

Thanks Angie! You read my mind about the styrofoam coolers. We will definately be getting one of those. Thanks for all the info.:D

Have you ever used Tiffany or Yourride before? I'm just wondering how Happy Limo compares to them--if the price is comparable, the service better or worse, etc. I noticed that Happy Limo got a "thumbs up" on mousesavers.com, so I was strongly considering giving them a try. (All I need is a one-way ride from a DDisney hotel to MCO.) Thanks for your helpfulness!

Sorry Danacath,

I have not used any other transfer except Mears. That is why we finally decided to use Happy Limo this time. After using Mears countless times, I just got sick and tired of waiting and waiting and waiting for the correct bus to take me to the hotel. I believe we saved at least an hour this time each way from using our own private car plus it was much more comfie.

I went with Happy Limo because I did ALOT of research and found very few (maybe one or two???) people that were unhappy with them. But I found many people who were happy, so that's the company I went with.

I used the search engine on this site and typed in Your Ride and Tiffany, Happy Limo, etc. to get alot of information from previous threads, plus I checked out other sites like Mouse Savers, Happy Limo's official site and also disneycruiser. com (they are their official limo service) to research.

Sorry I couldn't give you a comparison.

We just used Happy again too for our 5/25 Disney cruise. Didn't use the grocery stop this time, but we did last time for the first time ever, and it worked out so well. All we actually wanted were lottery tickets (they were a gift for a cast member), so they took us to a 7-11 right on the way. We do some really interesting transfer combos, as we typically fly in the night before our cruise and have them pick us up in the morning at whatever cheap MCO motel we've gotten via Priceline...lately, we've been going to Cocoa Beach to have breakfast with friends rather than directly to the ship, and they always manage to get it right!
We used to use Mears, but only until we learned about towncars.
