Just Back! Update On Crowds...

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: you're good. You had me worried. But I am worried because I think all of us are going the last week of Sept and first week of Oct. Hopefully it won't be too crowded!

Wow, looks like it is going to be ROUGH for our trip next week...

Woo Hoo!! :woohoo: We leave tomorrow for 6 nights!! Question for the OP...were the fast pass machines working since it was so quiet?

Yes actually most were running. The only ones I saw closed were Rock N Roller Coaster & Maelstrom in Norway. In fact we used them a few times & it was funny as we were walking in through the fast pass lane neck in neck with the regular line. In other words we didn't even need them. LOL! To all who are going soon, have a great time & can I go back with you? I pack light! :teeth:

We leave home on Friday for the Auto Train and arrive at PO-R on Saturday. Planning on "doing" AK on Sunday and EPCOT on Monday. Maybe we "dis'ers" will be the only ones in the parks :dance3: !!
We can only hope. You all have safe trips down/up/over/across.
The Weather for Saturday, Sunday & Monday is 88/89 highs, 73/74 lows and mostly sunny with only 20% chance of rain. Hope it stays that way.

Hey thanks for the pics!! I guess I can push my way through the crowds next week if they are like that!!! :thumbsup2

We are heading down on Friday (last minute decision to leave Friday instead of Saturday), so needless to say I should not be on these boards either. I have 2 tests and an essay at school tonight. I have studying in between loads of laundry and hauling suitcases up from the basement.

To everyone going next week, have a great time and see you there!!! :cool1:

Well, if I must endure massive crowds like that for our stay, I guess I can cowgirl up and take it. :p Maggie

Yeah, I'm guessing the "crowds" are waiting...oh, say, about 15 days?! That's my luck!! At this point I'm almost hoping for a tropical depression to roll thru so the crowds stay light...who said that?!?! :rolleyes1

I agree....hold out for another 10 days! Even if we can get a few days with those kinds of crowds I would be ecstatic!

OOOh!!!I wish it could look kind of like that when we go on Sept.30th!! Just a couple of weeks away...

It's not gonna happen; it's going to be F&W and MNSSHP time! :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2: :joker: Ah well!

Thanks for posting the serenity scenes!

That's when we are going, too. It won't be as dead, but it shouldn't be as bad as when my wife and I honeymooned in March of 2005!!! Seriously, this is going to be sooooo much better.

I really hope it is this way the last week of Sept. but there seems to be a bunch of us going then. I can handle 15-30 minute waits but I would hate to have anything higher than that.

Whew!! :worship: from the title of your post i thought we were gonna be in trouble!!! we'll be there this sunday and if the "crowds" stay as they are, that'd be GREAT!! :dumbo:

As much as I always complain about the crowds (we usually go during Easter or during the summer - we went this August during the 1st week of free dining and it was really crowded), those pictures almost seem a little too uncrowded for me!!! I don't know - it just seems a little "boring".

Then bring on boring! :thumbsup2

We'll be there this Saturday and hope to have similar crowd issues. ;)

I have to say I was prepared to argue. I was there on Saturday (day trip) and it was fantastic. No waits for anything. Yes, you got me :thumbsup2

We are going for our vacation in 8 days, and I hope we have the same kind of "nocrowds." I want the quiet magic, the less crowd magic, the no one blocking my view magic. I've worked hard and I want to play at Disney. I'm hoping the crowds stay away for one more week. I really need a vacation. :teeth:

I was at MK this morning and everything had no wait or very little. We just walked on Peter Pan's flight and waited 5 minutes for Dumbo. This was at 10:30 in the am!

We're heading out on Sunday for 8 days at CSR! DD10 broke her foot a little over a week ago, and I was worried about having to push her through crowds in a wheelchair. Good to know that I shouldn't be as concerned.

Guess I should stop watching the boards for crowd reports and finish the laundry so we can get packed!

Hi Cleokitty, We are arriving at CSR on Sunday as well :cheer2: . And, my MIL fell down the basement stairs Sunday evening and sprained her ankle ver badly :sad2: , so we may be pushing her around in a wheelchair also. Where are you getting your wheelchair? Do you know where your room is yet?
