For everyone going soon please prepare yourselves for the horrendous crowds! This is what we encountered at EPCOT Monday 9-11. It wsa just awful! These pictures were taken at approximately 12:15, 1:20 & 2:30 in the afternoon.

:rotfl2: :lmao: On a serious note.... the parks all seemed to have elevated attendance over the weekend but on Friday & Monday they were very light as in non exsistent!! Keep in mind when I say elevated attendance on weekends I only mean 10-15 minute waits at the most! Saturday & Sunday most things were either a walk on or at most a 10-15 minute wait!! It was awesome!!!! We went with no dining arrangements made since it was a last minute trip & it was difficult to get in table service places but that was the only problem we encountered! Hope this little update puts a smile on your faces!! :woohoo:

Those are the same type of crowds we experienced Aug 27th - Sept 2nd! Man waiting in those long 5 minute lines was unbearable. LOL It took 5 minutes to walk from the entrance to actually getting into boat, seat, what have you to see the attraction. hehe Justin and I were the only two people in the boat on Splash Mountain and also Pirates. 5 minute wait for Soarin and that was just waiting for the other peoples ride to finish and for them to open the doors for us to enter!

Ditto for us on this whole thread.

Our park days last week were Sept. 6-10 and the only day where we had waits (the longest being about 15 minutes) was Sunday the 10th in Magic Kingdom. The day before, a Saturday, in Epcot, we rode Test Track TWICE inside of 45 minutes between 10:15 and 11:00 am. It would have been twice inside of less than 30 minutes if I had been able to drag my 6 year old son out of the gift shop at the end of the ride.

Yes, it was glorious.

Rode in the front of the monorail and only had to wait for one to pass to get the chance.

Walked right to the back of the WDW railroad to the empty seat so our son could be the "guest conductor".

Rode Goofy's Barnstormer alone on the 6th, and BTMRR with only about 6 other people on the same day.

The week after Labour Day is great...

If you can stand the heat.

I'm used to mid-summer crowds.....this trip is going to be great!!!! :teeth:

We experienced the same thing at Animal Kingdom on Saturday - went to Expedition Everest for fast passes and found the that stand-by line was only 20 minutes.

We did have quite a wait - over 30 minutes - for Space Mountain during Friday's Night of Joy.

Epcot on Sunday - both of my girls got to pick an animal for Miyuki, the candy maker in Japan. Very cool.

I guess you thought that was funny. Scared me to so bad. We leave in 9 days.:rotfl:

We were there last year in Sept this same time. We actually... get this... this is amazing... we actually sat in BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN RAILROAD... in the VERY FIRST CAR (well, train actually) ... and...rode 3 times IN A ROW... WITHOUT GETTING OFF... Now heres the cool part...ON A SATURDAY AT LUNCH TIME!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Think about that for a minute! popcorn:: Think about that bottlenosed crowd that is usually a slow moving mass in the mountain area! :dance3:

We went Sunday and it was pretty empty, longest lines were 20 minutes in Fantasy Land around 5pm, but looked like they may have been a bit smaller than 20 minutes.

how was the weather? from your pics it looks like it was not bad at all! Just curious. We are leaving Thursday. Glad it is quiet. We were there last year at the same time and we experienced the same crowd level. I am thinking that the more people who know this , the busier it could get though. Of course some people just CANT take holidays at this time of year, so maybe it wont make much difference.

It sounds like all of us who are going in the next couple of weeks are going to have a great time. We leave on Sat. and reading this is just making me all the more excited. Reminds me of the "Are you sleeping" comercial. Nope, I'm not sleeping, tooo excited!

Ooh I hope it stays like this for us...we will be there in 3 days :thumbsup2

Ok..I have GOT to get off of these boards and PACK!

I am such a procrastinator...

Yippee!!! Yippee!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Thanks for the UPDATE ...
I'm so EXCITED ...I just cant hold back :cool1: :cheer2: Glad to hear that you had short waits and nice sunny days !!!
I hope it doesnt get too busy during Epcots food & wine fest .....

:cool1: Oh Boy!! I hope that this "crowd" will also be there for us Oct 5 thru 10th!!! It would be sweet for the 5 of us - that way the 3 girls (all 7yo) would be able to get more rides in. Glad that you had a great time!!

So excited, we arrive Friday in the World and it's awesome to hear crowds are smaller. :-D

Wow wish I waited a week later. We went Labor day weekend until Saturday the 9th and it was packed most of the week. We waited 40 minutes for POTC and alot of better rides we had to use FP unless we got there first thing in the morning. I guess the holiday weekend made it more hot crowded and miserable. Later in the week was better though.

We're going just as the Food and Wine Festival starts... although we have one day in Epcot before that.

I was looking through my pics of 2004 - same time of year, and MK was EMPTY! I never thought anything of it at the time, but it's so funny looking back on those pics now. :lmao:

Oh, I cant stand it.... Want to leave NOW :yay:

I went to Disney in 04 the day after xmas :rotfl: So, anytime of year looks great to me..... We now go in Jan, but this is a trip for dd bday. I am excited that it may be "CROWDED" like that for us...

Hurry up Tuesday!!!! Leaving on a jet plane, going to Disney World, wish I did not have to come home again... :rotfl:
