Just back--Turtle Talk was INSANELY CROWDED

We were at Epcot on Tuesday. Did Soarin first (and got FP to come back later). Then went to Mission Space. Ended up at Living Seas around mid morning and the line for Turtle Talk with Crush was out the doors! (you now enter through the exit, right by Crush). We estimated the wait time would be at least 2 hours and a CM working the line confirmed this. He said to try back between 3-7pm because it usually slows down at the end of the day. Went back around 5 and the line was still almost to the gift shop--still about an hour- hour and a half wait. We decided we would just have to skip it this trip.

Soarin and MS were practically walk on when we went back to them, we really didn't even need the FP--Turtle Talk was the ONLY huge line we encountered at any attraction, any park, the entire week (including 3 rides on Everest!)

If you really want to see Crush, I strongly suggest you go early--get FP for Soarin and get to Crush first!

Since the entrance is now at the "exit" I think people walk in, not really sure what to expect and see the line and get in it! I told my group that I would be willing to bet that many of those in line had no idea what they were in line for!

Yep totally agree! Remember I told you we hadn't seen it yet and would probably skip it? We ended up seeing it almost last thing before we left for home. We waited 20 minutes. I think we just got lucky. I'm glad we saw it, really cute. Our daughter sat up front, got to ask a question. It's crazy tho. Who would have known!

I am so glad you got to see it. We really loved it when we saw it last trip and were really disappointed we missed it this time--but we just weren't going to wait that long. It was probably one of the highlights of our week when we saw it before!

You asked me on the other meeting Disers thread if I was planning another trip yet an the answer is definitely YES! When we went in Dec of 2004 we left feeling like we had done all we wanted and were "Disneyed out" (I know--hard to believe!). We had done all the attractions at all 4 parks that we wanted to, and thanks to MVMCP we were able to do most things at MK repeatedly.

This trip we really left feeling "unfulfilled". We really missed alot. Test Track being closed was an expected disappointment--we knew about it before we went, but it is the kids absolute favorite so they were sad. We missed Turtle Talk, and because of the crowds didn't really even get to look at much at Living Seas. We never made it to Toontown in MK, and had also sworn to ourselves that we would finally ride the train--but didn't. We wanted to ride Big Thunder a few more times, but the lines were long and we were tired. Also, since it was cool I sat out on Kali and Splash because I just didn't want to get wet.

We were with friends that weren't having the best time themselves so that also put a bit of a damper on the whole trip. Overall we had a great time, but just kept thinking that we can't wait to come back by ourselves.

Actually, DH and I really want to take an adults only trip. I really want to just be able to relax and really take in the details. But, until the kids are older that will be out of the question.

Next trip will probably be with my MIL. We get along great and I will enjoy that--we may make it girls only (her, me and my 2 dd). She can't go all day long so it will be a more relaxed style trip with lots of down time at the hotel.

Please tell me you're joking???
I think it was a joke. Just joking out of frustration. I know how he feels. We tried everyday for a week until we got lucky.
