We just got back early this morning and had a wonderful time in the Universal and Disney parks. We were there 9/13-9/22, and weekdays the parks were wonderful everything was pretty much a walk on, only used Express Pass a few times during this week but over this last weekend was another matter..The parks were very CROWDED and Express Pass was a must. Monday once again the parks were very empty, so I really recommend weekday touring right now...

Lots closed as has already been noted here and many attractions do not open till later. HOWEVER, no matter what the stated opening time was, we got into the parks each day at 9am, including IOA on saturday. They first held us in Port of Entry, but after fifteen minutes at about 9:15am they let us into Super Hero section. The stated time for the rest of the park was 10am, but by 9:30am they opened the rest of the park. Same thing with Universal both days we started our day over there the parks were all open at 9am as we entered, and all rides running except those that open later.

If anyone has any questions would be glad to help ya out....back to laundry now..:(

Thanks for sharing...I'm not surprised the weekend was crowded...I was there on Thursday and Friday and remember BTTF line got up to a 35 minute wait!! I didn't notice Shrek go above 15 minutes, butI didn't spend much time at the rides anyway...;)

Wow!!!! That's great. Hopefully a boost in our economy is coming down the pike.

Blueberry, did you notice if it was much warmer at Universal than at WDW, or was that my imagination? We were at WDW from 9/13 thru 9/19, then to USF. It was soooo hot! And yes, crowds on Sat. We left on Sunday.

Tis true. Saturday was much busier than was expected. It's both good and bad.

Good, because that means lots of people want to come to the parks (job security :p )

Bad, because lines were horribly long and express ran out quick...

True...though I think it's good...I mean, it's not OVERLY busy...nothing like the summer months, so it definitely makes the trips more enjoyable and relaxing...

BTW - watch out Dark Marauder! SpideyHulk and I are gaining on you in posts!!!! :p

If you pass me, you pass me. No biggie. I dont need to post in every thread. I post when I feel I can be of assistance or push the thread along. Otherwise, I let threads be...

You're no fun, Dark Marauder. ;) J/K

Anyway, that's why I don't have a gazillion more posts than SpideyHulk over here...I only post where I can offer information...whereas HE posts in every thread...even those posted for only FEMALES!!

(Just teasing ya Spidey!)

The good thing is that I can provide help or assistance when I post, or sometimes I post to keep the thread going or form more conversation. To each his own, I guess. No harm done.

yes...you needed to keep Selina's thread alive about bras and thongs and lingerie in general...LOL :)

Fly Fly,

I cannot get one passed you! You are too much! ;)

Don't expect me to be at all clever with any form of comebacks when I meet you though...I'm shy in RL and don't talk much at first....just ask Kevin...he got me talking by the end of the day though :)

That's okay. I am really outgoing.....like you didn't know already...LOL. My wife is shy though, you'll see.

It's getting closer!!!!!

Flyfly, you'll grow out of it, eventually. I'd recommend getting a job after you turn 16. This will help force your shell to crack somewhat. You'll need to be able to talk to people if you plan on working at Universal while attending UCF.

true Dark Marauder...that's what I'm hoping. :) In fact, I'd get a job now, but the only option is being a bagger at Publix...and everyone my age does that...

Anyway, do you have to be 18 to work at Universal part time?

And good thing you are outgoing SpideyHulk...there is no way I can doubt that!!! lol :)

seriously?? So if I wanted a part time job over the summer I could work there?????

That would be awesome! My mom told me I could work there over the summer if I was old enough (we'd stay at my grandmother's house for part of the week so it's not as far of a drive). That would be so cool. :)

Well, I wouldn't mind working anywhere really...just being at Universal would be awesome...what do they even allow 16-year olds to do anyway? I'm sure it's quite limited...

Actually, it's not that limited. You just can't get into entertainment (can you?) or work anywhere that sells alcohol. Otherwise, you can work just about anywhere in the parks.
