JUST back- Tiffany town car.

Just back from a great trip at WDW-POP CENTURY. We used Tiffany Town car. Tiffany picked us up when we arrived at MCO no prob, the problem when we left they went to wrong resort, we waited half hour and called them. We were at Pop Century they went to CBR. Also had a different driver on way back, don;t know if this was the problem or what? WE made our flight ok, just don;t like to rush.. I asked them if we should call before they pick us up for the ride home, they said no we will be there.... We will use them again, I will call befare going home to check on reservations.........

We are staying at Pop in June, and have reserved TTC for transportation from the airport. Could you please give me an idea of how much you paid?

I think it's always a good idea to call the day before. Glad you had a good trip!

I have used Tiffany for the last 3 trips I have been on the latest being this past October. The driver was waiting for us on arrival. The only problem was that he would not help with our luggage and I had my 65 yr old mom with me. So I struggled with hers as well. They have always been on time and have taken us to the correct resort. I have always called to verify with them the day before I leave for either pickup. ( I am a verify nut and verify EVERYTHING the day before I leave to Disney...dont like surprises) I'm sure I will use them for our next trip.

MOM3rn- The cost was $85.00 round trip for three of us, minus the coupon of $5.oo. We also gave them a tip of $10.00 both ways. Having the 30 min stop at the store is wonderful, we buy a case of water. This was our second trip on TTC, we will use them again........ have fun at WDW...

After 2 bad experiences with Tiffany we switched to Fl Tours. They were fabulous. They called us the day before to confirm pickup, the were waiting for us at the airport and hotel both times we used them. They carried our luggage, (What is the deal with Tiffany on that!!)

My husband and I will never use Tiffany again. They kept us waiting at the airport for almost an hour the first time we used them, never again

The horror stories about Tiffany Towncar go on and on. They are not reliable in my opinion. Tiffany Towncar seems to becoming as bad as mears. They take your money and then you are nothing more than a number.

Have to say that all three times we've used TT it has been terrific. Always ontime for pick-up at the airport. Always helped with our baggage. Never a problem getting back to the airport. I have heard problems with all the companies. None are perfect.

We had a similar issue with Tiffany - no problems with arrival, they were at the airport and helped with the luggage. When the dropped us off at WL I specifically asked if I should call the day before dearture to confirm, and was told no - they would be there. The driver even gave us his cell phone number. However, on the day we were leaving they had sent a different driver to the AKL instead of WL. After 30 minutes of trying to get it straightened out on the phone, luckily, a Tiffany driver arrived to drop off newcomers from the airport. When we explained our dilemma, he called the office and arranged to take us to the airport and the other driver would pick up his next run. This driver was great - he did say he always tells his passengers to call and confirm the day before. So it did all work out. I would use Tiffany again, but I would call the day before no matter what the driver tells you.

Since I have actually used TTC Myself - not just heard "stories" I respectfully disagree. We just used them in Nov, and Feb as well as 2-3x a year for the past several years. So my "OPINION" is based on fact and my actual experience. We are always met at baggage claim, always helped with the luggage and always stop at a major grocery chain. Its a must for me as I travel as the solo adult with two young children.

When was the last time you used Tiffany?

The one time I used another Town Car company I was left stranded at the Dolphin for the return trip to the airport. The cab fare cost $57.00 plus tip and I had already paid for the r/t town car. Again this was the only time I tried a company other than Tiffany.

I had never even heard of a taking a town car until I started reading the opinions of the members of the disboards. I spent some time reading the transportation board to hear some discussion on which service is considered reliable.

I hadn't read any negative reports on Fl but did about Tiffiany (see above stories of actual experiences). In addition, Fl Tours support the disboards so I decided to book my trip next month through them. I trust the members of the disboard when they give me an opionion but I also realize that bad news travels fast and an unhappy customer is always the loudest.

I'll let everyone know how Fl tours does so that another newbie can benifit from my experience. I also plan on calling 24 hrs before my pick up and drop off just to ease my mind.
