Just Back SSR Pool Question

We are just back from a stay at SSR and even though we loved the resort we were puzzled why the main pool was not heated. It was so cold it made it uncomfortable to go in. Also, neither of the hot tubs at the main pool were working. The only comment we got from SSR staff was that the Congress Park pool was heated and the hot tub was working. Is the main pool never heated or was something broken?

We were there in Feb. ane the pools were heated and the one hot tub was working - the one by the busstop and bar. The other one didn't have any water in it and the Donald Duck in the children's area was MIA. The quiet pool was heated too.

Does anyone know if the pool has been recently drained and cleaned? That would explain the water being chilly. I've never been to a WDW pool, even at the value resorts that was not heated. I wonder if something was broken.

Interesting! The water in that pool was WAY too warm when we were there last June.

I'm sure it's heated...though considering the warm weather we've had already maybe they have decided not to heat it at this time?

The water in the pool at VB was perfect last week...and we couldn't have asked for better weather (at least til Thursday night when the storm blew through).

All Disney pools are heated, but I am not sure at what time of the year they stop heating them.

The SSR pool temp was fine when we were there in Feb. I'm quite sure it was heated because it was pretty cool temps in the evening and in the 70's during the afternoon. If It weren't heated, I don't think we would have been able to tolerate it during the day, it would have been to cold. Maybe it's just broken right now.
