Matter of fact we were at WDW too. We did give up after the 2nd wave of thunderstorms on Tuesday while at MK (wasn't digging the lightening portion of it). Went to the resort, warmed up, changed and hung out at DTD in the rain.

We got caught in the Tuesday thunderstorms too!

We were on Splaash Mountain, and it started to pour just as we got on. We all got soaked from the rain, and DD's stroller was also soaked. We bought a poncho for her to sit and and walked to the exits while getting even more wet. :rotfl2:

We went back to the hotel and dried off for our 6pm ADR's. Then we rode the monorail and visited the Poly and GF.

And on 9/18, I rode Dumbo 3 times in a row without having to get off because there were so few people (granted, this was just before "Wishes").

Too funny....because we got to the MK at 7:30pm on 9/18 and managed to ride IASW, Peter Pan (2 times) Dumbo, Pooh, Snow White, Dumbo again, IASW again, and PP three times in a row and then Wishes started. It was my daughter's Fantasyland dream come true!

I was very pleased with the crowd levels....I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for anything.

The busses were crowded in the mornings and at park closing. And the more popular restaraunts were crowded for sure. Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare were nuts.

Have to tell all, I am loving hearing all your "empty" wdw stories!!!! Did any of you go to a MNSSHP? Did they have low crowds as well?????

I was here at home dreaming about my vacation that is now only 4 sweet short weeks away  pirate:

Can anyone tell me, are the crowd levels going to be similar in January, or is it quieter in September to go.

We went Friday night and it was not crowded at all. Lots of candy and fun for all. The fireworks were very long and wonderful.

For anyone who was at WDW this week/ last week.... If you got the free DDP, when did you book it? My main question is, we are wondering around when does WDW offer free dining? (I know they might always change there minds and never offer it again.... I understand that... BUT) I am just curious to find out when to start checking!!!!

THANK YOU , to Any and all who can answer my question.....

We were there last week...I got engaged in the France pavilion at Epcot with Belle, the Beast and Princess Aurora standing behind me!
