We went to Beaches and Cream 3 times, so I'll review that one. But I'd be happy to answer ?s about the others. First time to B&C was about 2:15pm, very crowded, 45 minute wait, so we came back about 3:30. This time we had to sit at the counter (2 of us) which was fun. I had a banana split, and also watched 20 yo DS finally meet the sundae he couldn't finish-the No Way Jose. Also we saw the kitchen sink being served to a family of 3, one of whom was celebrating her 90th birthday. The man said "We wanted to do something different!" I'll say! Our service was prompt and very pleasant. We both loved our sundaes. Also went back the last day at lunch time and surprisingly got a table for 4 right away. DH and I shared a sandwich and it came split on 2 plates, with the order of French Fries split and we each got a pickle. For dessert, DH and same DS had the No Way Jose (which, once again, DS couldn't finish-and he has a big appetite). Older DS had just ice cream with peanut butter sauce and I had my new favorite dessert, Fudge Mud Slide. Yum, yum! If I'd discovered that earlier in the week, I'd have gained about a ton! Once again, excellent service and excellent food. We all enjoyed the soda shop atmosphere. And although we all ate at Ghiardelli's also, we've agreed that Beaches and Cream is far better for sundaes. We also ate at Teppenyaki (lunch), Biergarten (lunch), Olivia's (dinner), CRT (lunch), French Pastry Shop, Peco's Bill (dinner), and tried to eat at Sand Trap Bar and Grill but after a 5 minute wait for menus from the hostess (she said "I'll be right back"), DH decided to leave. Happy to answer any ?? about the places we ate at.

I just ate at Beaches and Cream about 12 days ago also and we really enjoyed it, as always. This visit we ate there when it was very crowded--right after Illuminations let out so it was a mad house but we still had excellent service and yummy food. We were seated at the counter and were amazed at how efficiently the CMS handle the masses and still provide great food and service. The night we were there one woman was working the grill solo and she was also training someone and she never missed a beat cranking out perfect grill orders for a lot of people. All the CMs were amazing to watch, they handled easily at least 100 people between the take out line, the counter service and the tables in the hour we were there and they stilled remained pleasant and gave great service! Only at Disney! :D

We just love B & C. Burgers and onions rings are wonderful and the sundaes are out of this world. It has always been busy when ever we have been there but the CM easily deal with the large amount of people.

How was Olivia's, we have thought about trying to get over to it on our next trip. We have heard so many good reviews of it that we would like to try it. Thanks Ron...

Honestly, we were a little disappointed in Olivia's. Service was slow, and it was the most expensive meal we ate all week (but then, come to think of it, it was the only sit down dinner except Trail's End). Biergarten, Teppenyaki, and Trail's End were cheaper, but the first 2 were lunches. Also, although we're DVC members and get 10% off, we forgot (we're new members) and our server didn't ask. Would have been nice if he had. Food was OK though. And although we didn't have PS for Sunday Memorial Day weekend, we didn't wait. Frankly, we liked Good's to Go just as well.

Thank you for the reviews on B&C! We are really hoping to make it there in our upcoming trip.

If there is a long wait is it possible to just walk along the resort & such? Do they give you a 'beeper' like some places do when your table is ready?

I can not wait to try the onion rings & the SUNDAES!!! :p

How was Teppenyaki, we have PS in a week. We also love Pecos Bill, how was it this time when you went?

I saw the party in front of us at B&C being given a beeper.
Teppenyaki was excellent. DS #2 and I went there and enjoyed it so much we made PS for lunch the day the whole family was originally scheduled to go somewhere else later in the week. However, when we got back, DS #1 reminded us that he does NOT like oriental food so that nixed our second trip.
Peco's Bill's was also very good. Went to both E-nites last week, and ate there both times. Even ate the same thing there both times (I guess I'm a creature of habit)-the salad. I couldn't finish it either time. It was very good, especially with a little bit of cooked onion from the salad bar. DS #1 commented that the French Fries were excellent-he was impressed, and he doesn't impress easily when it comes to food.

You just gotta love Beaches & Cream. Sorry to hear that you weren't over impressed with Olivias I really want to eat here and I'm sure I'll still give it a try.

Thanks again for the reviews

Simba's Mom,

Did you say you ate at Trail's End? How was the food. I know the price is right. Did it take a long time for you to get to the Pavilion? We are staying at CR, so we are pretty close to FW. I really want to try breakfast or dinner there.

Hi,
Glad you had a nice time. I was wondering how CRT was? We are going for our Ann. dinner. We went 2 or 3 yrs ago for lunch and liked it alot. I hope it hasnt changed. Never went for dinner, but figure it cant be that differant.

The No Way Hose is just my most favourite sundae. I am ashamed to say that I finish it every time though. Lol

We stayed at FW for a couple days and ate at Trail's End then, so it didn't take long at all. I thought the buffet was a little small, not too many selection, but what there was was very good.
CRT was great as usual. Service was prompt and food was good. I had the Major Domo pie and DS had the Prime Rib. It was kind of a special lunch for just DS and me because he was leaving home for his first job (he just graduated from college) the day after vacation ended. I'd say we made a good choice for a nice, relatively quiet meal.
