Just returned after 6 days at the world.
1) Resort- Stayed at BCV ...It seems they made up to me the fact that I never received any requests in the last 23 stays at any WDW resort..Arrived at 1pm and was given a ready 1 bdr, (4th floor rm 429) facing the Epcot area and a double balcony. We were able to see and hear Illuminations (at least the firework portion and music) each night. We also got our first towel animals Ever. All Cms were friendly and pleasant
2) Crowds- LOTS of people but little wait times.Max wait was 70 mins for TSM on Tuesday afternoon. Most waits were in the 45 min range late in the day. Also very pleasant Cms .Lots of strollers and ECVs,Lots of people PULLING ROLLING backpacks( I mention this only cause I saw an elderly gentleman trip over one ).Saw several kids on Heelies, and one pretty serious wipeout and injury from it too.
3) Dining- After doing the dining plan each and every trip, we decided we won't do it again.Simply too much time spent dining and going from place to place.Ate at Les Chefs,Biergarten, Boma, Garden Grill, Cape May and Crystal Palace. All were good except Crystal Palace dinner which Stunk.Seriously...used to be good , now not so much.very tastless ,bland food.At all places -Was seated within or before adr time.Lots of walk ups turned away.
4)Weather- Record breaking heat. Sun-Wed ..Mid 80's with 90% humidity.5) RIDES- alot broke down while on it.I got stuck on Space MTN on Sunday and had to be walked off.I got stuck on Splash,HM, Triceratops whirl and Spaceship earth all broke down between Sunday and thurs.
Saw alot but also missed alot simply due to timing and shorter park hours.I have to give kudos to all the Cms who I saw that were dealing with very difficult guests...All in all a great trip, but an exhausting one.

Welcome back! Glad you had a great time!

Thanks for the report! We'll be checking in at the BCV this time tomorrow!!!

Did you happen to notice if there were more or less people as the week progressed. We are leaving this afternoon, arriving tonight around 10:00, and hitting HS tomorrow morning.

It was ok all week..till yesterday.Saw ALOT of people checking in yesterday.Parks remained pretty much the same though

at least you had great weather----that was the one thing I hated about going this time of year--the change from 49 degrees one day, to 85 degrees the next day.

We did but we got out of dodge at the right time.Back here in PA we are expecting to get slammed with 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow, and Orlando was dropping into highs of the 60s today with lots of rain...We escaped just in time.

You must be on the Philly side of the state then---we are only (not that I will enjoy it) getting 3-5 on the Pitts side.
