We got back very late last night. It was an amazing trip once again. The resort was nice and our stay overall was a very pleasant one.

The only real problems we had with Pop this trip was with the transportation. I realize the resort was booked solid the entire time we were there and we expected long bus lines to some extent. Unfortunately, no matter what time we were on the bus or were we came from, we found ourselves standing "a lot"! I expected this after parades, closing, openings, etc. but it was all day long. It just seemed like there were far too many people staying at this resort for the buses to keep up with the volume. At the end of the trip, we actually started waiting for a second bus to arrive to avoid standing yet again.

Everything else was wonderful. The food court was great yet very busy. We swam only at the bowling pin pool. We found the main pool to be very busy and quite noisy. All CM's were very pleasant and helpful.

Overall it was a great stay!

Thanks for the review. DW & I have ressies at POP July 8-13.

Thanks for your review of Pop. I have stayed there a few times and do like the resort and will stay there again. But I know what you mean about the transportation. I got the same thing a few times, I even had the longest wait for a bus coming back from wishes with Pop. All stars had only about 10 poeple in each sections line, Pop's line was completly full and wend down past All stars:eek:

Thanks for info as well. Our trip is set for 8/25 - 9/1. Maybe if more andmore people add to their sujestion box, questioneer, etc. they may put on or add more busses in the future.

We are driving down from Pittsburgh. Would using our own car be a quicker option then using the buses? As I recall the MK would be a royal pain but what about the other parks, is driving a good idea?

Thank you for the review. My DS and I have ressies 8/16-25. What building did you stay in? Was it convenient to the Classic Hall and bus stop?

I have to say yes. On my first family trip in 02, I drove my own car to WDW and thought because I was staying at the Poly, I wouldn't need it. For MK and Epcot this held true. I found going to the other parks it was easier on my sanity to use our car, especially a hard day at the Water parks.

I stayed at AKL during a spilt stay and found myself longing for a car. Beautiful resort, but it seemed we always were just missing the bus we need to be on and the wait would feel longer than it really is.

I never stayed at a value but have seen how crowded they can be for the bus return back to the resorts. If you have a car, why not use it? You get free parking anyway and you're in charge of your arrival and departing times for the park you went to that day. Sometimes with younger kids waiting is for the bus to get there, then finding it crowded and having to wait for other buses to arrive, is just the final push toward the meltdown you see some kids have.

We ALWAYS rent a car while at WDW. I really like the flexibility and control it gives me. Parking is free at the parks because we stay onsite and we come and go as we please. Waiting for a crowded bus in the hot sun is just not my idea of vacation fun.
