We just returned Saturday from 6 nights at the CR. I just had to remark on how polite I thought people were. If someone bumped into you, they said excuse me. No one tried to cut in front of us at the parades. Two men offered me their seat, once on a bus from Blizzard Beach and once on the monorail.

The CM's were very helpful, alot of them going out of their way to interact with the kids. A couple of CM's were especially great. A CM at the Emporium during the MSNSSHP, occupied my DD, while waiting for the parade. Very wonderful experiences.

And the characters were great. Took alot of time. Cinderella and Minnie danced with my DD. And just had a wonderful experience with all of them.

We had a great trip!

Glad to hear you had a great trip! As my parents used to say.." being polite goes a long way!" :goodvibes

I got back Saturday and I have to agree--it was great! No problems anywhere, CMs were great everywhere, even other guests were great. No shocking things to share. I had a great time and can't wait to go back!

sure you were at wdw? just kidding. i kind of wonder if most of the problems arise due to overcrowding and sweltering = short fuses all around as we usually don't have a lot of problems off season( except for crazed kamakazi stroller dads)

glad you had a great trip! We were there the beginning of Sept and I had men offer seats several times on crowded buses and monorails. It didn't happen often since the parks had very light attendance but it was appreciated!

It seems kind of ridiculous, since the parks were so empty, but we had several problems with guests who were all male and spanish-speaking. Not saying they were from another country, they spoke english as well, but they were there with their families and spoke spanish with them. Several times we waited for parades and had these men squeeze in as the parade was starting and put their kids on their shoulders. I finally told one man that he was now blocking any view at all for my kids and he just shrugged his shoulders, said "sorry", and turned back around so his kid could see the parade. At that pt my dd(6) took matters into her own hands, found herself a "path" to the street, and plopped down with a group of other kids.

That is so great! It makes a huge difference when people are kind and polite with one another. Like I've always said, smiles are contagious! (even if I can't spell!! :rotfl2: )

We also had wonderful CM's and Characters on our trip last week. When we ran into Stitch at Magic Kingdom one night, there were no other families in line to see him. He spent (no kidding) about 10 minutes playing with my kids, "digging" into my DS's backback (looking for snacks) and just making us laugh! Because of that experience with Stitch, my DS started a new collection of Stitch pins on his lanyard!

Thanks to all those awesome CM's and Characters! Gotta luv em' !!!
