Logged into my Disney Experience last night and all my photopass pics were there. Started adding fun borders and stickers, and after each one I hit "create a copy". Then when I was looking through them, none of the originals were there anymore. :confused3 What is happening? I was always able to edit the same picture numerous times, save them all and the original would still be there.

Can anyone help me with this? I'm sick about it as I always like to keep the original. Thanks!

You need to make the copy BEFORE you start making any changes. You are making a copy of whatever you are currently looking at. Copy your original, then modify the copy!

Does that make sense?

You never had to do that before though. That stinks if you have to do it that way now. :/ I guess that's another "upgrade".

it should have an easy fix. make a copy, then select the "remove all changes" or "revert to original" option. I forget which it is called. That should restore your copy to the original picture.

But I will acknowledge I haven't been on the site since Christmas, so if the change has been since then, this may not work.

Make sure you select large than 4x8 or whatever it was almost had a whole disk at that size by accident last summer because didn't realize it wouldn't put it at its native resolution of those nice cameras.

So I need to create a copy of the original first, then I will have the original and I can edit one of them as many times as needed? Yes it makes sense if that is what you mean. I will try that. No, we never had to do that before and its a pain.

Also, there is a "claim your photos" button that I didn't click because I was afraid if I did, that would be the end of my editing abilities. Do I hit that when I am done?

And one more... Sorry. We purchased a digital download of two ride photos, but I can' figure out where to claim them on the photopass site. And are they able to be added to my archive disc?

Okay...I think that is all. Thanks for the help! :)

The "claim your photos" should take you to where you can enter in a new/another photopass card number. In case you end up with multiple cards during your visit.

The digital ride photo, the CM should have scanned your card (or MB) when you bought it, and it will pull up when you enter that card number (or automatically). I have noticed that it can take a day or 2 for ride photos to turn up, which can be distressing. By the time you realize that they aren't there, it is too late to go back and have them added. :confused3

4x6 is the largest available. By choosing 5x7 or 8x10, a portion of the top and bottom of your photo is cropped to fit the new resolution. 4x6 is the default and has more of the photo available. Do this at your own peril if you want to waste a lot of time.

Logged in last night, saved the original, then I had two copies of the original and the one I editied. :confused3

More is better I guess.

The ride photo we purchased seperately as a digital download. I did Photo Pass with the disc and not Memory Maker so my ride photos were not included. I will enter them in the "claim your photos" section and hope they will be there.

Thanks again everyone.

That is what you have to do now...I agree, quite annoying :(

Also to warn anyone who is saving pictures as different sizes - Disney no longer puts the picture size in the file name. I discovered this after I received my Archive CD in December, and I have no way of telling what photos I saved as what sizes. I emailed Photopass about it, and they said there just is no way to tell anymore.

I know I have 5x7s and 8x10s with borders that won't print correctly if I don't pick the right size to print it at...but I dont' know what size that is. Absolutely ridiculous, IMO. What's the point of saving different sizes, if you can't tell which file is which later?
