Half the clan leaves today (Monday, December 6) so here's the cast of characters:
Me31
DH32
DD8
DS9
Gramma A
Grampa A

Just a reminder that my immediate famliy goes to WDW yearly and this is only Gramma and Grampa's second time.

Mon. December 6
The Z's left this morning. We had breakfast in the room and putzed with them till they left around 11am. Then we headed for AK.

Since we were starving, we headed for Flame Tree Barbecue. DS9 had the Chicken Quarter Meal and the rest of us each had the Ribs Meal. We shared some drinks. Even though it appeared busy (it was EE day), we found a spot right by the water in the shade. Food was good and plenty of it.

Dinner this evening was at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. Cindy, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla were present as was Fairy Godmother outside. The food as always was yum! Gramma and Grampa were impressed as this was their first time at this restaurant. Gramma really like the strawberry soup (me too!). I loved the Chicken Marsala and they had some really good spring rolls too.

Tues. December 7
We were up and at 'em early today because we had an 8:05am PS at Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. This was our first time at breakfast for any of us at CP. We all agreed that it's much much much better than Cindy's (except DH, but he has a crush on all the princesses so go figure). The quality and variety of food much better and there was not that rushed feeling that you sometimes feel at the castle. Loved the breakfast lasagna, but boy was it rich. I just came away from that meal feeling really good and reaaaaaalllllly full. But in a good way. Can't recommend this one enough. Go!

Lunch...we kinda snacked, except the kids had chicken fingers and hot dogs at counter service places in MK.

Dinner was Hoop Dee Doo tonight! Grampa A was waiting and waiting for this. He and Gramma had never been before. They loved the show! The food is standard fare, ribs, chicken, corn, salad, bread butter. We had great seats close to the front. The dessert was the strawberry shortcake, which was very good, but I wish I had more room to have enjoyed it! Always enjoyable! Kids almost fell out of their seats laughing so hard.

Part III to come soon!

I'm pretty sure she means to say that we go at least yearly to WDW.

Better than good, I love the ribs here at Flame Tree! All y'all shoulda seen my face before I wiped the BBQ sauce off. I'm quite glad Zulaya didn't have the camera ready.

I also highly recommend this restaurant for Breakfast. It has great food and there are characters!

I also love this show. The ribs are quite good, but not quite up to Flame Tree Barbecue standards (IMO & YMMV). My favorite part of the show was when SixBits got the main singer guy to start giggling when he was supposed to be starting up a song. Man that was funny!
