Just back from a FANTASTIC and MAGICAL trip to WDW. Here are some quick highlights from the trip:
-AKL-absolutely beautiful. All of my room requests were met. Proximity to AK is great but a distance from the other parks. Food at Maras and Bomas was great. Loved the zebra domes.
-BWV-unbelieveable!!!! This was our first DVC stay and this resort passed all our expectations. The room (1 bedroom) was great, pools were fun, location is amazing and the other activities whether at Community Hall or the Boardwalk was endless. We loved this resort.
Trip highlights:
-My 3 yr. old son was picked to be Belle's father in the Belle's storytime in the gardens at MK. What a moment!!!
-My 8 yr. old was picked prior to the MGM parade to play the part of Darth Vader to warm up the crowd..he loved it!!!
-Weather.....typical Florida weather but it didn't cancel any of our plans.
-Crowds...not too bad. I still think the crowds in July are not as bad as the Easter break crowds.....
-Chef Mickey's-we were thrilled on Sat. 7/12 to have 2 special guests at Chef Mickeys...Donald Duck and Rabbit from Pooh.
-Loved the opening morning show at the MK where the train comes into the station with Mickey and friends. Got tears in my eyes watching the show....never knew this show existed!
-H&V Fantasmic Package-Food was good, not great but the ability to not wait in the theater for 2 hours was worth it!!!!
-Crystal Palace Dinner-great as usual
-Princess Storybook Breakfast-Jasmine, Belle, Mary Poppins, Mulan and Sleeping Beauty...food and location was fantastic.
-Primetime Cafe-the best smores on the planet!!
-Charm Bracelets-made one for my niece, mom and myself. These things are great!!! I have one with Cinderella themed charms (my favorite movie) and my name...what a keepsake!
Can't wait to go back!
The boardwalk villas have definately spoiled me and I don't know if I could stay anywhere else...
Any questions please let me know.......
