Hi Everyone!
Just back from our 7th stay at WDW and our 2nd at OKW. We really love the quiet feel of OKW, so laid back and relaxing from a day at the parks! While this trip was on rented points, we purchased a small contract before we left, so it was nice to feel we really belonged!
We stayed in a studio this trip, building 21 overlooking the golf course and not too far from a quiet pool. We arrived close to 5pm, and still had our choice of a couple of studios. Our room was ready and clean, and no problem with our trash and towel service. Kudos to housekeeping/maint., our toilet broke first night, and they where there within 15 minutes to fix and bring the extra blankets/pillows we requested.
I was somewhat disappointed with the service levels at Olivia's. Went for breakfast at 9:45 (they serve until 10:30) and was told they were no longer taking names..only 2 families waiting...and over 8 empty tables, inside alone (yes, I counted them). Hostess made up several different excuses, none made sense. I did ask for further explainantion, and was told to call the manager. I did call, left message and he/she never returned my call. Poor service. My feeling was not enough staff for breakfast.
Parks were great, not bad lines, F&W yahoo!, and wonderful weather, not to mention spending time with my girls and niece!
Another memory filled vacation at WDW (loved breakfast at Poly with Mickey, Pluto, & Stitch...Mickey and Pluto spent alot of time with the girls ...
oh, did I mention they are 15, 15 and 19! ha! ha!)
