Just Back - O'hana's was great!

We had read some bad comments about the changes at O'hana's and were worried about going there this trip. Don't Worry!! It was the best meal we had all week. Our waiter was so awesome - he really made our meal enjoyable. The wonton chips weren't that great, but the potatoes were a welcome change. My DH also enjoyed the new sausage addition. The chicken wings were wonderful - I didn't notice any change there. The new dessert was fantastic - WOW! Our DS had the ice bucket (it's like a huge snow cone in a plastic bucket) for dessert last time we were there and this time our waiter said they don't do individual desserts anymore - he then came back with an ice bucket for our DS.

We also enjoyed eating at Earl of Sandwich in DD a few nights. Since we were at SSR we just had to walk over there and pick up a sandwich for $4.95 - you can't beat that price. The pretzels in DD were very good too.

We did our typical lunch at Sci-Fi and enjoyed it. We tried Boma's at AKL and enjoyed the prime rib, chicken, soups and desserts. I didn't care for the side dishes, JMO. Oh, well - it's all about trying new things.

All in all it was the best trip we have had - great weather (cool and very little rain), great food and, of course, Mickey!!

We ate at 'Ohana Saturday night (12/24) and I have to agree with the OP. Food and service were just as good as we remembered.

My only complaint was that they did not dim the lights during the MK fireworks like they did in the past. Also the fireworks went on for a minute or two before they started piping the music in.
