Just returned from 3 nites at BWV, studio room. Awesome view of the Boardwalk and Epcot.
Room was on the 5th floor, so we were able to see the fireworks every night. Next time, would spend the extra points for the 1BR. Studio was roomy enough for DH, and DD's ages 15 and 12, but missed the privacy of the master bedroom, the whirpool tub, and the washer and dryer.
Crowds at all parks were substantial, but not overwhelming. Epcot was mostly empty in the evenings. Had wonderful meals at Tony's, Brown Derby, Tempura/Japan, and the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian. The banana stuffed french toast cannot be beat. Attended the luau at the Poly. Food was OK, but the show was great.
Missed the EE, and made the mistake of getting to the parks prior to opening. Stood in line and had to enter parks like cattle. The last day, we waited until about 10:00am to enter the MK, and it was much better. You could enter at your leisure. This would be my new tip to anyone going. Wait until AFTER the parks open to enter. Your wait at security will go much faster, also.
Walkie-talkies are now a must! The kids were able to roam the parks and we were able to keep tabs on them, and meet up at certain times.
Ready to plan our next trip, which is DCL next November!
