Hello eveyone! We just got back from our trip and we had several terrific dining experiences at WDW.
Our new favorite is 'Ohana! Great food, great service, and fun atmosphere, plus the food just keeps coming! My only problem was that we ate so much that we didn't feel like riding much at the Magic Kingdom after that.
We ate at Boma again-- it was our favorite restaurant on our last trip. The food was wonderful, but the service was slightly disappointing this time. Our server took forever to get our drink refills, and the service just wasn't up to the level I expected from our last visit. However, we'll still do this one every trip-- the food was just too good to pass up. I'm sure the service will be better next time.
We did Hollywood & Vine with the Fantasmic dinner package and it was a good buffet-- we certainly got our money's worth. We ended up getting rained out of Fantasmic, though. (We've been rained out of Fantasmic all 3 times we tried to see it-- once last year and twice this year.
) I would probably book the package again, though.
We did dinner at Crystal Palace after having done breakfast there last year. The food was good but I think I enjoyed breakfast more.
We also ate at two World Showcase restaurants. We ate at Le Cellier for lunch, and it was great. The cheese soup was fantastic. We both ordered prime rib sandwiches which were terrific as well. The atmosphere was nice and quiet here, and service was excellent. Rose and Crown was good too-- we enjoyed the fish and chips. That's one BIG piece of fish!
We did a ton of counter-service meals, and none really stood out except for Pecos Bill's-- GREAT toppings bar.
All in all, no bad meals, and a great trip!
