Hi,

Just got back from a 5 day trip. On Sunday we were told we could only use our hotel key once all day at mummy. We found during our trip that the express did not work very well with Mummy. We ended up using single line rider and this worked much faster. We were all adults so it didn't really matter, I am not sure if I would have done this if I had my children with me. Although my husband and I always ended up in hte same car.

The mummy broke down every day we were there. They did try to get it back up as soon as possible. My brother and his wife actually were walked off the ride one day. They received a one day pass free, good forever. They didn't ask for this, they were giving them to everyone that got stuck. The mummy was an awesone ride but there was one part at the end that only worked the very first time I rode. The rest of the time it was broke.

Just to clarify, was this one FOTL for the entire day or only until after 3:00PM?

We just returned from 5 days at universal. We only rode the Mummy after 3 but we were able to ride multiple times. The wait was approx. 10 minutes. Rode it at least 3 of the 5 days we were there and never experienced any break downs. Guess we were just lucky. I did almost lose my contact lenses when it came to the water part but it was worth it. We had a blast.

We also returned from 5 days at Universal. I got to ride Mummy 3 times. I found the express to be very long. I need to figure out how to write a decent trip report.

I was at Universal July 15-20 and also found the wait for Mummy to be long even with express. The only time I got on in les than 25 minutes was right after it re-opened after being down.

I have to say that on this trip we did NOT run into any rides with technical difficulties. ;)

Cmould - what did you mean about losing your contact lenses? Should you close your eyes for the ride - my luck I'll lose a lens and be blind all day!
