Just back - mosquitoes?!?!

We were at the Poly the end of August until Labor Day, no mosquitoes noted and we sat on our deck, walked on the beach and the path between the Poly and the GF in the evening several times. Must have been the excessive rain with Irma!

We were there late August too, we did not notice any mosquitoes .

Yes also at the Poly last week and covered in mosquito bites. We actually had a 2nd floor room the first night, switched to one with a balcony and then only ended up sitting on the balcony about 30 min the rest of the trip!

Were all the parks hit with mosquitoes?

Might have been no-see-ums, too. They are terrible. You can't see them and their bite itches like crazy for a long time. I used after sun with benzocaine on them and it stopped the itching some.

I was there from Oct. 16-23rd. I second the no-see-ums. I never felt when I was bit but one leg was just full of bites that itched like crazy. I was the only one though - my husband and DD were not bothered at all.
