Hi all,
Just home,we stayed at pop(perferred) from sept 28 thru oct 7. We were in roon 4225 and a short walk to the food court and buses. Check in was less than 5 minutes and we were on our way on our first day to the mk. Overall the trip was a blast, how ever this being my fourth trip in the sept/oct month i have to say it was packed in every park. With that said make use of fast pass and the longest line we waited on was soaring for 45 minutes. Had a little magic on our trip, on oct 2nd as we boarded star tours at mgm we won dream fast passes as part of the million dreams give away. The dream fast passes were good for oct 2nd only and were one fast pass ticket to every attraction that has fast pass in mgm.

********* RIDE SPOILER******************

In the living seas the new nemo ride is set to open real soon and i can confirm that sitting on the rocks at the living seas are those seaguls from the movie and on the ride as you enter the line they say "mine, mine, mine" i tried to get a pic of them, but could not.

Jungle cruise
I remember some talk about it being redone with some charters,i remember pumba being mentioned. 2 different cm's told me this won't happen and the large pumba blow up thing is just part of the halloween party.

We had the dinning plan and ate in italy, france, tonys town square, chef mickeys, mam melrose, holly wood and vine, and a few other places. Our favorite meal was at holly wood and vine, but they all were very good.

Hints!

People if you can check in on a off day do it ,we checked in on a thursday and it was a breeze, however on saturday the check in line at pop was well over an hour and you had to see the line for baggage claim. Also try to eat counter service meals on off times, we found that at peak eating hours the resturants were pack and full and at off peak times we had no problems finding a table. i'm not talking about midnight hours here, we found that at 12 noon the resturants were jammed, but at 2:30 they emptied out alot.

We rode just about every ride. So i guess thats it if you have any questions please feel free to asked,i will try to post pics as soon as i unpack.

sounds great.....thanks for taking the time to remember it all.......we too, love Hollywood and Vine.....I especially love the shrimp alfredo I think it was.....or maybe just seafood alfredo......and the meat sliced....YUMMY......can hardly wait to go back now.
thanks again......we did Soarin 9 times when we were there in May.....had to really work the parks on that one.....

I found your room on Oct 5th and left you a little post it note. I hope you got it.

Glad you had a nice trip.

We were at Pop in the 70's building rooms 4220,4221,4222. We were there from 9/29-10/5 then we upgraded to AKL and extended our stay until the 7th. We had some pixie dust... free stickers and Disney insulated sippy cups for the kids from the gift shop workers. Did you notice the funky smell in the green yo yo stairs? Was that your baby screaming everynight? Hopefully not. I can't imagine how loud it was in the actual room. Did you get alot of towel animals? We only got one small dog in each room.

This was my first fall trip and I couldn't believe how busy it was. We walked onto Mickey's Philharmagic 3 times and the teacups 3 times but everything else had a 10 minute or more wait. Pirates was 50, Ariel was 50, Safari at AK was 20, everest was 90, we didn't get to see Crush because the kids were melting down and the line was endless. Don't get me wrong, we had a blast but I was under the impression that we would be in a ghost town.

We also had a dream/wish thing happen. We were pulled out of the line on the teacups and escorted to the front to pick out a cup and then everyone sang happy unbirthday to us and we got a signed picture of Alice and the Mad Hatter. It was cute.

Nice to see you over here on the TR boards sharing your vacation at WDW with us. I usually see you on the CB, but I hardly get to the board anymore.

How was Tony's, I heard they changed their menu?
